I'm at work so I cant tell.....but has the campaign COOP bug been squashed? Can we now play all the SP COOP maps? I have not seen someone say yes or no on this bug.

Yes, it looks like it has been fixed. Since 1.03, I wasn't able to host coop campaign (mission 10) and always getting the "cannot establish connection" error. But I tested it with 1.04 and I've been able to get through up to the hardware selection screen with the mission briefing. So from there, I would guess that the remaining of the mission will work as well.

Can anyone confirm is the issue & subsequent workaround pinned here were corrected by the patch?

There has been several topics on problems with kits not showing up and similar problems, which worked while being used in the local folder, but not after being bundled.

Well the fix we did was the same as the workaround i.e removed the xmb compiling when bundling, since it will cause an issue if you don't have the whole un-bundled project.

lol the music on the patcher is like from them cracked games you download off warez websites.

Rpghard has already pointed out there is support for Custom Campaigns now in the Campaign menu. :D

ps you need to install a custom campaign to see this new option. See news page.

Yes, I tested that just now. What a crazy mission. I quick saved it because I have some things to do but the AI on operation storm are exciting.

THE ONLY THING I SEE AS A FUTURE PROBLEM is when you have more than two campaigns you need to move your mouse a lot to click the arrow since the arrows set themselves at the end of each campaign title instead of at a set location. Get what I mean? :wall:

Have the names of players now been removed from the SERVER INFO ?? because they don't show any more

I think grin_Ichabod confirmed this in another thread. said they are querying Gamespy for the information now rather than the server directly and it was missed. He said it will be fixed in the next patch.

Yeh it's not a perfect implementation for a few reasons (like, you could end up doing a lot of clicking), but I think actually having the feature outwieghs any minor niggles.

This patch does not work for Direct2Drive versions of the game

Patch worked for me on server and my pc... both direct2drive

Server screenshots do not work. they make a new folder called screenshots and a directory but it's empty. I will post it in the bug list...maybe someone made it work with a different command then /screenshot #3 1

Well that's a nomination for a patch fix, regardless of server sided or SP sided. I've got some tutorials on hold due to the lack of screenshot capability, and my current situation isn't the best, so hopefully they fix that.

And yeah, maybe Ubisoft is finally pulling their head out of their fourth point of contact, realizing that if you want to keep a title "popular" or better, might want to give it some longevity by allowing more patches.

Rate of fire bug was there. TDM server/Lagoon/Red Spawn/Rifleman 8 kit. Only happened once. Additionally, since 1.03 one of ours couldn't join our server unless Calavera was the map. We also had a question mark for a ping. Now we have a ping and he can join again.

One other thing sometimes in chat, chat doesn't capture all the characters. I found myself typing a word w/an r in it and I reloaded the gun.

seems to be a lot less ??????? pings or is it lots have not been patched yet.

Only just patched mine but most of the little nasties I have seen seem to have been fixed................woo hoo

CO-OP missions here we come.

Running CO-OP missions seem to now have noticeable LAG now that was not evident previously ?

I immediately canceled the installation and scanned the patch for viruses when I heard that music. I was saying to myself "###### kind of stupid crap is that?" ;)

lmfao, I dont even have the game but I had to download the patch just to see for myself. Exactly like one of those crack/keygen programs.

How can I start the game without it updating? I'm close to the end of mission 9 and I rather not start from the beginning...

Temporarily disable your network while playing?

I'm going to have to admit that's not quite right >_< It appears the feature has always been there, we just didn't know or understand fully how to implement it, until Wolfsong put it in his modding tutorial's and Rpghard pick up on it and got it working. :thumbsup:
