PONDLIFE Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 I think this level reminds me of the good old Days of Ghost Recon, Playing it now and decided on taking Hume for company and equipping us both with sniper rifles with suppressors and having an absolute blast. Moving between Recon Mode, Assault and using the Attack with a well timed execute key press is bringing all the Joys of the original game flooding back. jdub Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 i have the problem, that i finish mission 7 with S and almost every award (besides marksman, shame on me) but i can only get back to missions menu and theres no "new" mission to select from. all i can do is play the previous 7 missions.....is there no mission 8 or even act 3? ok..mnever mind.. .. got myself a mission8-savegame.... Belligerence Posted August 10, 2007 Share Posted August 10, 2007 (edited) Hey guys, Okay here is the deal: I complete all given tasks but when I escort Rosen to the extraction zone he won't get on the damn chopper. It is really ###### me off! I have tried restarting the mission but still no luck getting on the chopper. He is so enthusiastic to leave when you find him yet he won't leave once you get there. I don't know why it's bugging out. Maybe if I bring him a different way? (I usually bring him along the side of the map with the big steel fence.) Please give me some feedback! _Nick P.S. Game has been great so far. Playing on hardcore because well I am hardcore! P.S.S. Does anyone else find the multiplayer screen laggy at the start and then its fine? Also lack of populated servers? Don't know if it's been fixed in the coming patch, but I hope so. The credits went off without a hitch for me the two times I've passed the game already. I guess I was lucky. However last time I played the last mission I had to restart many times because my entire team would get wiped out as soon as hitting the ground by the .50 calibers. After so many restarts I finally made it and took over the us side of the bridge. However, for the rest of the mission the game would not let me quicksave. Even when everything was calm and there were no enemies around it wouldn't let me quicksave. Fortunately I passed the mission without the quicksave GRAW1 style but I was upset because the quicksave worked fine the first time I passed the game in that mission. Interesting map but I think it has a few issues. You don`t need to explode the Chopper, just place the charge. Although, it can be scripted in for reference. There`s been a lot of issues at the Extract with the Chopper, I`ve been left behind mainly. But difference in height to other`s, was 1 of them But a great mission, with many keys. Was kinda pointless since I chopped them up, but if you go to the overlook position where the enemy sniper is, they'll see you and it'll be called in. Just wait and a technical and a Panhard will show up. Just chill out, listen to the drama on the Narcom, and have fun chopping them up. Eric There are 3 mission objectives for this mission. you would need to (objective 1) destroy the remains of the black hawk and (objective 2) find Rosen; then Rosen will follow you to extraction point (objective 3). If you do it right, you can get in and get out, but remember once that alarm goes off, it's gametime, but then again, it's beatable that way too, just be slow. sr71gn Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 i just got a "S" perfect mission in hardcore mode yeaterday--this seemed to be the hardest mission to get an "S" rating in hardcore--you have to get your partner in a safe place first then you have to go kill everyone yourself--set the charge in the helicopter anywhere while you are killing the enemy--- then go kill three guys guarding rosen-- dont let rosen follow you--direct his movements and cover him the entire way back to the copter in case you missed any of the enemy--get him and your partner into the helo when you get to it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gunter Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Hi, here GRAW 2 1.04 and I'm stuck in Get Rosen mission due to the fact that there is no extraction point indicated. I have killed everyone, already rescued Rosen , everything clear. I have been told that the explosion is done by the movie and not remotely so I still have the green box indicating Blackhawk, I go there and nothing happens , so I try to search for the helo but cause I didn't have the warning to go to the extraction point there is no chance. Of course I am plenty of savegames and of course my game is original. Do you have please a code to bypass this mission ? I do not want to wait the patch 1.05 . Fletch Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 I had what may be the same problem. The Blackhawk marker was in the yard by the 2.5 ton truck when its really inside the garage. If that is maybe your setup try placing the C4 on the stuff in the garage and you will get your next waypoint. (Assuming you already tried to put the C4 on the truck?) I didn't try to place the C4 on the truck neither I have tried to place it inside the sorrounding hangars.BTW wich stuff inside the hangars I have to try to blow ? In addition I am astonished to see that Ubi left this misunderstanding event that can be triggered only let's say " cheating " . The wreckage of the helo is the wreckage of the helo and not something secretely hidden in a truck or maybe into some dusty boxes inside a neighbour warehouse. EricJ Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 Well it could be right after "price of peace" and to chop up even a Blackhawk would take some time for even the most sophisticated of rebels. Then again I wouldn't park it near where I'm holding the former occupant. A good way to structure the mission is to rescue Rosen, then send the team on a merry goose chase all over Juarez "Where's Blackhawk?" as a seperate mission. But the blackhawk parts randomly appear in one of the buildings, so you gotta check, the nose of it is quite visible and the annoying civilian guy will prompt you for some C4.. I have achieved all the objectives, cleared the extraction zone and have Rosen waiting. But I can't make him get in the chopper. Am I missing something? NoQuarter Posted January 12, 2008 Share Posted January 12, 2008 Not exactly sure what you have tried so far but just in case...use the Cross-Com order system; select Rosen, click mouse button#2 (wheel) and scroll down to move, point to the chopper ("move" should change to "use"), click again to initiate the order.
