Ok, seems like there might be "memory leak" on dedicated server CO-OP mode. I only get server crash if I run CO-OP and there's no-one playing, if someones play this slows "memory leak"? Anyone else noticed this kind of behaviour?

Running dedicated server, now got this 4 times (Intel E6600, 2GB RAM and 250GB HD runs on WIN XP PRO):

Ah, indeed we have. Coop dedicated seems to have a healthy, active memory leak. Odd, it does seem to slow/fluctuate with players on. Here's what I posted on the UBI forums:

This is the crash I almost always get, regardless of mode (SP/MP) after 30 minutes playing time.

If I restart the game right away I get the error msg: "Game executable is corrupted - please reinstall"

After a complete reboot of the system it works again for 30 minutes.

My Specs: WinXP Pro SP2, P4 3.0Ghz, 3Gb RAM, X-Fi Xtreme Music, Geforce 7800GS (AGP), newest drivers for all components

This is my crash Log with all its entries

I've rechecked all my drivers / System Resources (Graphics Temperature, RAM, etc.) - All perfectly in order

I've tried Generic Hardware Audio, Generic Software Audio and X-FI Mode with all quality settings and EAX on and off (in case it's the Audio)

One thing I've noticed then: it seem that my game especially can't cope with mp coop map changes - it always crashes when I've just finished a map.

I normally don't play much Multiplayer, but the Coop Mode is very nice! That unfortunately makes the permanent crashes just more annoying and doesn't help my motivation :(

I'm going crazy :wall:

Any suggestions most welcome...

Here's my crashlog. Sometimes I get to play for 2 hours in a row but sometimes just 5 minutes.

Specs:

C2D E6600 (stock speed)

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 (6.2.1.1002 sata-raid drivers)

R1900GT (cat7.7)

X-FI xtrememusic (latest drivers from creative autoupdate)

Corsair 2 GB ddr800 dualkit

BeQuiet! 450W psu

WinXP SP2 32-bit

Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 6600GT AGP 256MB

RAM: 1GHz

I currently have 2 possible reasons, 1) CPU voltage error has reduced CPU speed from 3.0GHz to 2.4GHz & 2) DDR RAM is a TOTAL of 1 GHz on single channel.

Any suggestions from the error message would be appreciated.

THIS IS MINE..... dam Vista is so C*** is unbelivable..... works fine in XP btw.

Used 158.43, 162.22 and 163.11 drivers.....

I'd really like to know how or what this crash is so I can sort it out. It will not let me get past the Profile screen... it briefly says the Video Card is unidentified... however the GRAW Detector detects it as a 8800 which is correct....

I'm stuffed...

Retail Version Patch 1.02:

Seems there's a bug regarding saves. I was playing Joining Forces last night, and decided for giggles to drop my MRC/GL and use a G36K. Well at that point, when I stopped the convoy, it saved. Leaving the game for a bit, I restarted the game, and started from that last save. After that, I retook my MRC/GL and when needing some grenades for the .50 nest that comes along, I realize... no grenades... I know up to that point I had a full loadout (no needing grenades at that point anyways) but had "0/0" on the display.

This is a known issue. It only saves 1 ammo count when a weapon is dropped, which is the ammo count for the rifle. It's on the list so to speak.

Codename Farollon (SP)

Continuing from a savepoint 0:) Beasley, who had previously been given a cover order, would not respond to subsequent move orders...I then went to his position and found him behind a prop with his weapon pointing straight up- 0°. He would not move from his spot or stance, or change his arc, etc...the only way to resolve it was to issue the follow command.

while shooting with sniper bullets were not hitting the target 5 headshots and still nothing he turns and shoots me first time ;:)
