  1. JohnTC02, Rahnman, JackDoe and all, words cannot express how much this means to me, and to Fubar as well. Gator was very dear to us, and it's been a sad summer with his passing. I can't keep it off my mind. This is definitely something very special to look forward to (in addition to an awesome new map, seeing Gator's tribute as well). Thank you so kindly to all for your thoughts and support.
  2. Just a head's up...we are getting the same crash as kaapo on our dedicated server. Regardless though, we do like the map, and thank you for your contribution, MexicoBob! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sun May 23 21:55:16 2010 Crash in application version: 30899.3048 data\lib\managers\groupmanager.dsf(-1): cant find member: base in type <void> SCRIPT STACK: data\lib\managers\eventmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\eventmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\worldmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\worldmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\setups\setup.dsf(0) data\level\level.dsf(0) Renderer: threaded Physics : normal ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mon May 24 05:49:01 2010 Crash in application version: 30899.3048 data\lib\managers\groupmanager.dsf(-1): cant find member: base in type <void> SCRIPT STACK: data\lib\managers\eventmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\eventmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\worldmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\worldmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\setups\setup.dsf(0) data\level\level.dsf(0) Renderer: threaded Physics : normal
  3. This is a problem with how the dedicated server app was coded by GRIN/UBI. Adversarial modes don't exhibit the memory leak as bad. Coop is horrible and notorious for it. Stuffing as much RAM as possible into the dedicated server PC helps (more time before you run out of RAM), but there is no real fix.
  4. I've been gone for a while, but these great new GRAW2 maps have inspired me to play again. Thank you for all the awesome missions/maps! All of us from Fubar Tactical definitely appreciate them.
  5. Post a sample from your server xml file. Should look something like this: <match_info level="coop_Bogie_ToxicPart1_Day_v2" order="1"> </match_info> <match_info level="coop_Bogie_ToxicPart2_Night_v2" order="2"> </match_info> <match_info level="coop_Bogie_Village_Day_v2" order="3"> </match_info> <match_info level="coop_Bogie_SanchezFog_V2" order="4"> </match_info>
  6. Those ports are for GRAW, not quite the same for GRAW2. Try these, from the readme file: You may experience difficulty connecting to Gamespy if a firewall or anti-virus blocks the following ports: Local Ports UDP 13139 UDP 16250 Remote Ports UDP 16250 TCP 80 TCP 443 TCP 6667 UDP 13139 UDP 27900 UDP 27901 TCP 28910 TCP 29900 TCP 29901 UDP 29910 TCP 29920
  7. Read a few things from there, but looks like I've got some reading to do. For those of you sci-fi types who haven't read any of Philip K. Dick's stuff, you're missing out!
  8. Ah, a blast to the past. RIP, Mr. Clarke. Been watching a few vids on youtube...good memories. And of course, got 2001 on DVD.
  9. Well known bug with version 1.05. Now, instead of getting stuck with single or full auto fire, changing ROF crashes the game. Weeee!
  10. I second Rocky's post! Been playing v2 of Retrieve, and looking forward to checking out Coop Snipers. Good stuff, thank you Rpghard!
  11. Got a chance to play it on our server for 20 minutes tonight! Got abuot 62 kills but had to call it a night (gotta sleep sometime lol). Thank you for your work on this. I've always liked that map for TDM, and it's nice that us coop monkeys can play it now. Hats off to you, Rpghard!
  12. I heard this same rumor too. That would be way cool.
  13. They wouldn't let me take one home. Looks like it weighs more than it does...very light rifle, easy to handle. Flat top AR15 M4-gery setups are my fave, but this would be a nice toy to have.
  14. Forgot to add - it's nice to have the server logs now. Haven't checked to see if there's 4 or 1 grenade...is that in single player or multiplayer?
  15. As Satoh mentioned, the Auto/burst/single select fire bug is still there. The workaround we all used (enter chat and press the key used to change ROF) now causes this crash: Wed Feb 13 21:15:40 2008 Crash in application version: 30899.3048 data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(-1): cant find member: pressed in type <void> Renderer: threaded Physics : threaded Tangos in coop take longer to react to being shot, and map load times are longer. The coop dedicated server memory leak is still there. Applies to both stock and custom maps.
  16. I definitely appreciate the patch and work put into it. Thank you, GRIN. RE: Satoh's post - I can confirm the Auto/burst/single select fire bug is still there. The mentioned workaround we all used now causes this crash: Wed Feb 13 21:15:40 2008 Crash in application version: 30899.3048 data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(-1): cant find member: pressed in type <void> Renderer: threaded Physics : threaded With 1.05, the netcode seems less stable than 1.04. Tangos in coop take longer to react to being shot, and map load times are longer. The coop memory leak is still very active, alive and well. GRAW2 coop mp has much to like about it, but many obstacles to overcome.
  17. They're so nice, cheery and helpful to them. Rat turds for us PC folks. Hmm, didn't Kimi used to be a PC gamer?
  18. Try this linky...the email is at the bottom. Hopefully it's a current addy. http://www.cobracrufiles.com/graw2/readme.txt Oh, and here's his profile, but he hasn't logged on since Dec: http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showuser=18096
  19. Bet it'll take PB a while to get things smoothed out with COD4. New game, same pains. I recall the PB frustrations with Ravenshield...ack. Indeed, it makes one want to break things!
  20. Is it like this issue? http://www.punksbusted.com/forums/index.ph...=47968&st=0
  21. We are new to COD4 (look for me, I make a great target!). We have a modded, unranked server, US west coast based. HC, no airstrikes/uav/rpg/gl, limited perks, slower game speed, etc. Also, be sure to look for TuG TEAM's new server! Info: http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php...mp;#entry508551
  22. lol i did mean to post, sorry Thanks for all the help guys. Had to razz ya...but glad to see your server's up and running! With a few settings changed, COD4's much more enjoyable.
  23. You're welcome for the help last week on the game and player speed.
  24. set g_speed 170 works to slow the overall game speed, but only in a mod environment. Haven't messed with the sprinttime setting yet, but curious to see what effect it has. Also check out these settings...we backed them off a little for each class: set class_assault_movespeed 0.85 set class_specops_movespeed 0.90 set class_heavygunner_movespeed 0.75 set class_demolitions_movespeed 0.90 set class_sniper_movespeed 0.90
