Insider Live! Posted by Rocky on Tuesday, May 17 2005
E3 insider just went live, and promptly fell over! Their server couldn't handle the traffic and collapsed, if it is back up you are in for a treat of gaming information, so go try it now! The funny thing is, if you do get it to load it has a "funny facts" section on the right that says "E3Expo’s network capacity requirement has increased four-fold in the last 2 years. This year, inbound and outbound traffic will be moving in excess of 180 Mbps (million bits per second). This is the equivalent of 3,000 dialup connections, and is enough bandwidth for 600 simultaneous VHS-quality live-streaming video connections."
Just to the right of that, there's a window with a "server capacity exceeded" error!
