http://ghost-recon.ubisoft.com/wildlands/en-GB/news/detail.aspx?c=tcm:154-272021-16&ct=tcm:148-76770-32 Seems our Ghosts have evolved from being a part of the 5th SFG to their own, fully-fledged Tier 1 Unit. However, it does beg the question of "what sets the Ghosts apart from other JSOC units". From what I can gather they are capable of operating independently in four-man fireteams and specialize in both direct action and reconnaissance missions. Thanks to Nomad, we can also determine that they regularly take individuals from other JSOC units, too. To me it seems like the Ghosts are really just the lovechild of Delta and the ISA. Hopefully Wildlands emphasizes intelligence gathering, too.
I was expecting a whole lot more negativity on the Siege forums and... there wasn't a whole lot? Granted, there are people (rightfully) complaining about the issues that permeate the game, but I've always seen Siege as an excellent game marred by technical issues. As for Wildlands, it's too early to say. We have yet to receive any substantial news regarding non-coop multiplayer. I suspect that it will, unfortunately, take a backseat to the coop. The likelihood for having server browsers seems pretty slim.
