Zeealex
Looked around on my facebook today and i was greeted by new screenshots fromt he PC AND a release date which is: Europe: 28th June 2012 UK: 29th June 2012 North America: 26th June 2012 I have to say the graphics look much better over the Xbox 360/PS3 version these are OFFICIAL screenshots from the PC: Please, for the love of god, and for anyone else's sanity, don't be negative about it, if you've got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. 101459
Ouch my eyes! I thought higher resolution would make these images look better, but it looks even worse than I imagined... What a bummer...
Zeealex
what are you talking about 101!? to be honest, I'm getting fed up with this now! if you do not like what you see, thats fine, it's your opinion and your money you have, but please for the love of god, leave the negativity at the door with threads like this! RileyFletcher_01
Yeah, when I see somebody get on a thread that specifically says 'DO NOT POST NEGATIVENESS', it really makes me think that they're just trying to cause trouble.
WytchDokta
Yeah, when I see somebody get on a thread that specifically says 'DO NOT POST NEGATIVENESS', it really makes me think that they're just trying to cause trouble. Negativity right there. You know that being negative is so much more fun than being positive, right? But yeah, the graphics on FS on console are lacklustre (for want of better negative non-swear word), game looks somewhat dated on console. Rocky
Ouch my eyes! I thought higher resolution would make these images look better, but it looks even worse than I imagined... What a bummer... You know that they never post real screenshots right? These will have been through a filter.More importantly, it would seem the OS question is answered. Supported Operating Systems*: Windows Vista® (with Service Pack 2)/ Windows 7® (with Service pack 1), both 32 bit & 64 bit versions; No XP! wanderon
Just wondering if i can make it the same graphics as consoles? (aka from medium to low) cuz i dont have a very powerful computer!
RileyFletcher_01
You probably couldn't set it to the exact settings of the consoles but you will definitely be able to set it to low settings, as in all other games.

shadowblade
I like the fact they release on console first, because they get the unrefined garbage first so that we pc users (optimisation and updates for the PC version withstanding, depending on the publisher obviously) end up with the better version of the product. It's not always the case but it sounds like Ubisoft are hearing the main points of criticism this time which I think is good of them to do. And that suits me fine
101459
what are you talking about 101!? The blur and DOF effects are for many a literal insta-headache -- if they can't be turned off or down... to be honest, I'm getting fed up with this now! if you do not like what you see, thats fine, it's your opinion and your money you have, but please for the love of god, leave the negativity at the door with threads like this! Just because you don't like my reaction doesn't make it inherently negative... Yeah, when I see somebody get on a thread that specifically says 'DO NOT POST NEGATIVENESS', it really makes me think that they're just trying to cause trouble. The OT posted was edited to include the religious and mental health histrionics 'for the love of god, and for anyone else's sanity, don't be negative about it' after I made my post (look at the edit time)... What kind of 'trouble' would I be trying to cause? Inspire the same concern from an Ubisoft Developer that may look to a more serious forum then their own public forum for feed-back as EA and BI have done regarding post processing effects on their deferred render engines? Wouldn't that be terrible... I honestly am sorry if you're offended, but sorrier to discover how absurdly touchy and intolerant some people are, on an game forum no less; and somehow feel that anything and everything that isn't some sort of Stepford Wives lock-step nodding, smiling, agreement that everything is wonderful and perfect becomes an either/or us/them 'negative'... The upside of this, and point (if anyone from Ubispoft is reading/concerned) is the Windows XP patch should also work on Windows Vista and Windows 7, and, if some configurability allow those systems to run the game in DirectX 9 mode, it should remove entirely what for some are literally painful artifacts and not 'eye candy'... ' The alternative of course is someone may feel forced to take the matter at hand with his expensive game (as was the case with R6 Vegas) where shaders had to be manually edited to make the game playable for some, and got these Players blacklisted on PunkBuster for doing so -- I'd rather the more 'positive' alternative... WytchDokta
That first screenshot is from the mission where you are to infilitrate a cargo ship, this mission takes place at night on consoles, but above it looks like day. I see a grey sky, not a black sky. And screenshots numbers two and four are from cutscenes.
=warcloud=
Not another delay haha, although GRFS PC has been officialy marketed for TriDef 3D i can't wait to try GRFS with nvidia's 3D Vision, max payne 3 is stunning in 3D and DX11 on the PC. Lightspeed
I quite like the look of it but I really can't figure out why they have the ring around the gun - what does it do? lol I feel like its there to make it look more futuristic but they just couldnt think of anything to tie to it. Would it not be a distraction? I guess I'll find out at some point.

Aesthetic augmented reality i suppose, haha!. It's very subtle imho, but i don't think GRFS is all that futuristic, the gadgets are sort of futuristic but the rest is very very near future, i suppose?. Google is working on glasses right now that have real world augmented reality. The Ghost are all wearing glasses so this could be the case. I'm sure the rings give the person a real hud in real time for info on their gun.
