Skins looks really good Stalker!

So you are going for a full mod again now Deleyt? This remind me of something...

Ok, let's throw up a bet here; if GR2 comes out in June, who think Deleyt will have the mod ready before that??

Me and stalker could mate those CHRs, with my NVGs, put them in as specialist would look sweet ass on the train at night.

You should also ask Snow for use of his Glock17 apparently its what they use the KCT, and I could put it in a tac holster on stalkers skins. And apply a Protec helmet as well.

I took the liberty of re-encoding it for WMP latest version, which keeps the same quality but reduced the size down to under 1Mb when zipped.

Great looking mod D, really great!

-Is the map limitless? I mean, you could make a 20 min mission on it?

-Do players who fall off die? Because you obviously couldn't have a person alive on the side because the train is not really moving (right?)

I don't mind any specialists (although it was not my intention), but you'll have to take it up with Stalker to put it all together.

Snow's Glock17: I'll leave that up to him. I love Snow's weaponry, so I'll leave it up to him what he want's to add.

- Is the map limitless?: Nope, there are about 20 boxcars and 1 engine in the cargochain, spanning a total of 400 meters

The passengertrain consists of about 14 carriages (little under 350 meters, as it is now)

The time to complete a mission on it, depends on the scripter.

- Do players who fall off die?: You can not fall off. It's blocked by an invisible collisionwall. I mean, who would step off a riding train? ;)

Besides, it will ruin gameplay I think as it would be dodgy for the player to guess where the floor starts and where it stops.

SAS operator with SF10 mask.

They will be released in SWEBAT if they don't make it in here first, all up to D though.

Use it in SWEBAT mate...Stalker's made some nice ones aswell.

That way both mods get to see them ;)

Damn...this is nice. The terrain around is amazing.

Not only that but modders could use the map as a multi player map with the trains going back and forth in the middle between the two teams base. It would be a kicker and would add a twist to the firefight if you could die by getting hit by the train.

Sorry bud, that's not possible.

The way this map has been constructed it's only possible to battle it out on or inside the trains, not on the terrain surrounding it.

For the past 2 weeks not alot to be honest.

Work has been getting in between and the spare time I've got is going to VBS1 at the moment. I'm totally hooked on that!

I will probably do some modding on Trainride tomorrow though as I got 2 extra days off.

Another one finally converted... :devil: Soon we will have all the top modders from the GR community in our grip  :P

I'm already looking into how to make maps for VBS1 :devil:

It's a bit of a mess though, converting back and forth with several programs for each discipline.

A test-mod of Trainride has been uploaded for those that are contributing.

If you do not have a PM, don't bother downloading this zipfile, it is encrypted with a password.

TRAINRIDE MOD

There's a test-mission called -Trainride- which will drop you on the back of the transport-engine.

You can use this as your guide.

I've left out the passenger train due to portal issues. It will be added as soon as I've got it fixed.

Hopefully I'll get some more time on my hands during the next few weeks to finish it. No guarantees though.
