I only have the amd 1.67 ghz processor. hope i can dumb down the graphics to still get decent fps. i need a demo to come out to try it on. Foxtrot360
if you have sufficient speed in your other hardware to make up for the loss in proccessor speed? Thats kinda what mine is..
stevenmu
I only have the amd 1.67 ghz processor← iirc the 1.6ghz AMDs were either the Athlon XP 2200+ or 2400+, which means it's (roughly) the equivelent of a 2.2 or 2.4 ghz Pentium 4, you should be fine for the minimum spec. Specter
You'd be surprised on how much you can fudge processor specs, as long as you have a decent video card and enough RAM.

calius
Athlon 2.2 gig - ATI9800PRO 128MB - 762 MB ram - Audigy 2 - 333mhz MOBO BUS speed. ... hmmm, shouldnt run completely crap but I guess it will be a case of easy on the shading & maybe no shadows & no AA. May have to drop to 1024x768 than current 1280x1024 .... will be interesting to see what I willl have to scaled down to from my setup ... the demo will be the tester. If its that bad FPS / scaling down so it looks crap I will probably not purchase. If its not too bad on balance visualy and plays crap no purchase ... if its a ok balance between the 2 I will not purchase - but - wait for feedback of others of full game, if it looks good enough scaled and plays like a GR dream then im in. jsonedecker
This is what I have in this pc right now. It's not for games but it might be by the time I'm done with it. ← I'm pretty sure those cards are based on the Radeon 9700 chips or a derivative of it. Your going to see a problem with the low # of pixel/vertex shaders units unfortunately. Those are good for raw geometry (CAD), but bad for pretty rendering (games). -John

Those were the days I tell ya. Anyway, I'll give it a shot when or if a demo comes out. That will give me a better idea I guess.
