Greetings gentlemen.
I first msut say that i was really crestfallen that GRAW was pushed back. I have been waiting for a good tactical shooter to make a reappearence into the PC market.
Along comes Red ORchestra: Ost front. Im like they made an UT2004 mod into a game, I had my doubts. All the other ww2 shooters i have played are just run and gun, arcade style. After reading the forums, faq's and cilps i decided to take a chance on the game.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! The realism is just fantastic in this game, everything that we have been wanting in GRAW is in form here. SUppresion fire is actually worth a damn now in this game, strategy and team work is the only way your side will accomplish goals.
While it is not GRAW, it is a very nice ww2 version in my book, closer to how GR was back inits prime. I highly suggest you try the game out, it is only 25 bucks and with the exception of some technical problems here and there that are being addressed daily, it is worth every penny and more. I encourge those that have not looked at the game to do so, it might be the tactical shooter we need to hold are attention else where, while GRAW is being finished.
