Tollen
@Thumper1518 Maybe we should name a specialist "Sling Kay" and give him that weapon You have no idea how close to the truth you are Check your mail. Is it doable? Ooops... was this thing up... I thought I wrote a PM... better close this quickly! EDIT: This message will self-destruct in five... four... three... Thumper1518
If you sent me an e-mail, I did not get it. If you are wondering if I could find a way to mount every known thing onto a weapon, I'm sure I could, but only two of the weapons would be usable in GR. Not to mention it would look like a multi-caliber pin cushion. From now on, I'll try to only post the more "sensible" models, and leave the treats for those who D/L SWEBAT. Tollen
Ohh... The mail bounced back... Damned... No reason to sulk Thumper, I assure you!
Thumper1518
Good! Besides, who's sulking? Was this what you were looking for in your e-mail? The G36K-AG36. On every KSK team member's Christmas list this year
SnowFella
Well I'll be damned! It looks like our KSK specialist has been a real good boy this year & will be crying tears of joy once he unwraps that big present sitting under the christmas tree! Outstanding work once again Thumper! Snow
Tollen
Some news ppl! SnowFella have gone AWOL and tomorrow, he will start to enjoy a well earned vacation! But before he logged of today, he sent me some renders of our standard DEMO-guy: As you might see, he features # a Combatsack 2000 (lot´s of room for explosives and such) # an ICOM-radio in his belt # Peltor COMTAC-hearingprotection with microphone The demo-man also features a TA9 remote igniting device on his leg If you look close enough, you´ll see the rank-tag on his brest, telling us that he´s a sergeant with the 3:rd Cavalry Regiment Edited September 28, 2003 by Tollen

SnowFella
As Tollen said I'm off for 4 days of well earned R&R, hopefully the weather will co-operate & I'll have some luck with my fishing! Hopefully I'll come back with a new found energy for modding, planning on having a go at the weapons modding comp... I might add that the backpack on our Demo expert is an attachment and might still go through some minor changes. Gave myself a limit of 150 polys when I modeled it and right now it weighs in at 94 polys, so I can still add a few more details. And as usual all .chr work is a combined effort between Tollen and I, he's responsible for the skins while I'm responsible for the 3d modeling. Couldn't do it without him! Suicide Commando
I say make the backpack an attachment, that way you won't die in-game if you get shot there. And the model and skinning looks great guys. Have a good time on you mini-vacation SF.
Tollen
Don´t worry SC. It´s an attachement, the only thing is if we should make it available in MP-games to, or just do the MP-atr´s without it.
cobaka
Do attachments have "weight"? That ######'s gotta slow him down.
elpatricio
Hmm, I don't think so IIRC.
Parabellum
As I plunge through my "assignment list" for weapons for this mod, I have finished (save tweaking) a G36C with RIS panels for accessories. As usual, Lancer is the man for the texture source photos. I was saddened to hear of Tollens computer woes, but the rest of us plod on... That is the most beautiful G36 I've ever seen. <sniff>
Tollen
Nope, weight-factors where never implemented in GR, so it doesn´t really mather. IRL, that pack is quite comfortable and while wearing normalgear, the total is some 15 kilograms for the sack, plus som 5-8 more kilograms in the vest, and here we´re talking about Swedish rangers
Parabellum
Did you guys ever do anything with that armor that I made you?
Tollen
Did you guys ever do anything with that armor that I made you? Look again Para. It is used and it will fit most of the specialists! @Wolfsong May the force be with you pal! @Every One Hmmm... MOD is coming along nicely and we got to the stage that perhaps might be considered as an Pre-Alpha-stage. I can also anounce that we´ve got some much needed help from Parabellum in making a nice looking body-armour, the "Kroppsskydd m/94", that we will outfit most of our specialists with. The fellow here is from the Airforce (as you see on his cap) and he packs a Ak 5C with a reflex-silencer. Counter-SOF never looked so good! Once again, thank you Para! great job guys, keep up that work Edited September 29, 2003 by Tollen
unwanted
Ohhh , that is one mean looking G36 .. Really nice work guys .. Are you planing to include the KSK asswell .... If you do that you have to use the G36Kv , the G36k with Picatinny rail .. I think its specially made for the Norwegians but im not really sure about it .... Keep up the good work ... / Cheers from Team SH ...
Suicide Commando
Thumper your entry in the GR.net modeling contest is perfect. Awesome job.
Thumper1518
TY SC. I have completed a bunch of weapons for SWEBAT, mostly those to be used by specialist and/or NPC's. I am awaiting a response to make sure I have finished the right models needed and still need to tweak the textures to get the tones similar for each weapon piece/add-on. You all are gonna enjoy this mod. Tollen and Snow will have some great chr and skins, plus Snow's weapons (which I have already seen the betas of ) I will post some pics in the following weeks, maybe some in-game shots with the appropriate character/weapon combo's, too. You never know......
Tollen
@Unwanted A true honour to have a college from the modding scene, register here to give some nice feedback! It feels great that you like our stuff Unwanted, especially since your and the SH-teams project once again shows that Swedish Steel bites in such a way that haven´t been done since OPF and Wolfsongs Swedish Force for GR! Suicide Commando
Hot damn, those are awesome! Thumper you've, in a very short time, proven yourself up there with the best weapons modelors. Are all those going into the SWEBAT mod? -edit- Duh, read the text in the image before asking questions....... Guess I was distracted again by the lovely images.
