WytchDokta
So, yeah, where's my M40? That Kazakh mission sounds cool, although I already play the missions without using sensors/Backscatter scope/thermal scope/ heartbeat sensor, etc, as I trust my own judgement more than that of technology (I'll take spotting enemies using my own eyes over using tech to see enemies through walss anyday). Tech is prone to breaking down, but my own judgement isn't. Don't pay to rely on tech is all I'm saying. 1200 MSP? Pffft, you know some of us got bills to pay and all Ubi? WytchDokta
Well, it's like the thing they had going on up to Raven Shield - before that was Rogue Spear (not rouge as many seem to think. Rouge means 'red' in French.) So, following this pattern you would think the sequel would have been titled 'Broken Helmet.' I mean you got a spear and a shield, so all you need then is a helmet right?
ARDelta
The Secure Dawn mission in the Kazakhstan marsh made me think of the OGR map Swamp. Lots of good times! No Raven Strike for PC? Bummer. Edited August 26, 2012 by ARDelta
WytchDokta
Besides, the next Skyrim DLC, 'Hearthfire' (in which you can design and build your own house how you want on any plot of land you purchase), is released the week before, so I know which what I'll be spending my money on instead Ubi (sorry, but 1200 MSP for 3 freakin' missions? How do you justify such things Ubi?)

WytchDokta
This DLC is hilarious. Really. They put Weapon Unlock Challenges on the three missions but there are no weapons to unlock. Fail!
Sgt. SuperSanity
Is it just me, or does the AI squad seem more... inept in the DLC?
WytchDokta
Is it just me, or does the AI squad seem more... inept in the DLC? Yes, to the point of being both deaf and blind. The enemy AI can also see through smoke screens when I spam out smoke grenades in the warehouse with the second HVT on Argent Thunder. I pop smoke when compromised, to conceal my relocation to another hard point. All the while I'm behind the smoke screen I'm taking rounds with deadly accuracy whilst I'm running at full speed. I guess there's an AI in AImbot for a reason. ######ing cheating AI. Edited September 14, 2012 by WytchDokta
Sgt. SuperSanity
I was really excited for the DLC. Not even going to lie. But after playing the first mission... I'm feeling really let down. It was short, linear, and just... meh. Hopefully the others will be better?
WytchDokta
Argent Thunder is fun, if you like having to take out APC's yet you have no dedicated anti-armour weapons. BTW, you CAN still use gadgets on Secure Dawn, even though it says you can't - thermal scope, backscatter optic, heartbeat sensor, etc. And the second mission, seriously those helicopters can see me while I'm prone and crawling yet I have optical camo activated. Like all the way up there in the sky, they can freakin see me? Dafuq is this Ubi? Edited September 14, 2012 by WytchDokta

WytchDokta
Point is, the vanilla campaign there is a mission to locate & extract an undercover CIA officer who was sniffed out by the enemy who then captured him. Part of this mission, towards the end, there's a large area with an enemy helo hovering overhead. You can simply bypass this helo by moving while crouched, while optical camo is activated. You can then do the same, going back through the aforementioned area once the intel has been extracted from the car, to bypass the helo a second time before you reach the exfil LZ. This helo just so happens to hover at the same height as the helos in the second mission of the DLC, but they can auto detect you no matter your stance or whether or not you're using optical camo. Same freaking helo's on both missions too. Edited September 15, 2012 by WytchDokta
