SnowFella Posted June 14, 2004 Share Posted June 14, 2004 As the topic says...I got alittle sidetracked from SWEBAT for a few hours in the last 2 days, been playing around with 3dsm making something relatively simple compared to my last 2 vehicles. The result of this you wonder...some MP5's Full lineup with the version I have right now. And some shots with alittle more detail. (polygon count ranging from 920 to 1300 depending on configuration) All parts are more or less "modular" so I can mix and match parts as I see fit, next in line is a new model of stock that HK has started making and a B&T rail system for the MP5SD models. And an MP5 Armoury might be possible, got parts for 12 different variants at the moment but increses dramaticly once I get the 3rd model of stock finished. Toss in suppressors, scopes and dubble mags and I'd probably be able to do 50 odd different versions @Chems: I got the PM mate, and might be interested at a later date. SnowFella Posted June 15, 2004 Author Share Posted June 15, 2004 Might just be a G11 planned in due time, right now I'm just pluggin away on the "standard" HK models as they have alot of similarities to eachother. I'm pretty much just doing slight changes to one single basemodel I have to create new versions. Like this...take one standard MP5....add a straight mag with alittle bulb at the end and add a last round mechanism... All of a sudden we have some MP5/10's or Mp5/40's Could do a similar thing to the HK 33's..toss on an MP5 handgrip, shorten the recoilspring tube and chance the flashhider and I'd have some HK 53's. Thanks for the offer mate but I've pretty much got a texture source lined up for it already, been collecting HK pics for quite a while now but just never had any use for them before. Edit: You might bloody well be right SC, now that I look at them they do seem a tad long for being 30 rounders Bad thing is the pic I've used for reference doesn't say anything about what mag it is. Got to get back into SWEBAT for a while before I can texture these puppies, got pretty much all the material I'll ever need to texture them. As all parts are pretty much modular I'll only have to texture each part once so it shouldn't take all to long once I get into it.
