Killa_N_Manila
I actually enjoyed this mod very much...I think it met the expectations that were set awhile ago...I wasn't disappointed at all...The skins are great, maps are excellent...NO probs imo... Suicide Commando
P_M or e_p, quick question. On your website it says all the C8 buttstocks were extended but it seems to me they are still not. Is there some way you extended them but left them out of version 1.0 when you packaged it up?
elpatricio
what it says on the site is a mistake, only the C8-sd buttstock was extended for the final version.
zulu9812
If I may add my thoughts... Loved the skins, esp. the camouflaged helmets (i.e with leaves) and the visors. Wasn't too sure about the hats (boonie hats?) but I don't really like them anyway. Great weapons, esp. the Ingram (both silenced and unsilenced - they have a cool firing noise!). Some more silenced weapons would've been nice. Mission 11 of the GR campaign (the PoW rescue) doesn't really suit my playing style if I don't have a silenced sniper rifle along for the ride. And can anyone tell what the point of an mp5 is? In every mod I've played that has them, the mp5 is always the worst gun. In even at close range, I've emptied the clip and the target still hasn't gone down. In this mod, I'd rather take a silenced ingram for close quarter work and a silenced diemaco for longer range affairs. So why bother with an mp5? I can't believe it's that useless in real life. The alpine specialists are a bit of a let down. It's frustrating when you stick your neck out to achieve the optional mission target, only to find out that your reward is a specialist you don't want to use. I understand the creators are considering putting a winter map in the next version, but one mission doesn't really make up for losing five specialists for the rest of the campaign. Incidentally, could someone please tell me how I go about changing those white specialists for ones from another mod? elpatricio
Hi zulu, thanks for the feedback. About the arctic specialists, we wanted to have uniforms for every type of terrain that there is. The specialists don't reflect any objectives in the GR campaign BTW, its designed to be played with all specialists unlocked. When mods like Frostbite come out, then they'll have a use. The MP5 is something that had to be included, its the sas ye know . I didn't realise that it was ineffective. Thanks, l8r El Patricio
SRS_Undertaker
Well ive read all comments, and i have come to a conclusion, most ppl want more weapons, maybe im wrong but wasnt this mod based on the SAS??, and as im a british soldier, all i can say, is GREAT JOB guys, you, ve made a great mod to reflect the best of the best...... or should i say "who dares wins" ? Copenhagen
I didn't think the MP5 was all that bad. A 3 round burst to chest usually put the enemy AI down, if not another tap would
Watchman
Excellent mod guys. The skins & weapons are top notch & yes the artic camo was a little surprising but definately well done and the mix AND limit to the available weapons works well. I am currently re-playing all the standard missions with this mod ( something no other mod has interested me in doing) and I'm having more fun this time round. The only gripe I have is the lack of Brit voices for the SP characters, would have been a nice touch if you had've tweaked those. Keep up the good work guys, it's definately appreciated by this Brit. Sgt.Crocodile
I personally like assault rifles (specially the SD's) better than SMGs. Sure they have a spacial spot in our hearts and a key role in CQB, but i enjoy drop the tangos with one single shot Can you 22nd SAS guys make a PSG1 - SD Keep up the great work! Best wishes
elpatricio
We'd thought long and hard about the british voices thing, but to do it well, we would have had to record a lot of wav files and it have increased the file size a fair bit, anyway its still something that we might make as a stand alone mod to play with SEM, or on its own. Thanks for all the feedback ppl
yeutinh
the mp5 is really something really Pommy, especially the SDs series. The SAS always seem to favour that weapons in CQB, in reallife of course it's a fair bit more effective than in the game. Well, I know the zoom and the fire power is abit weak, but try head shots ... one shot in the chest ... knock the air out, then put one slug in the gonards ... voila Overall this mod is very good ... take heaps of time, way too much good time spend on it ... Dats my 2 bobs worth ...

Rocky
EDIT: never mind, it seems to be working - must've been fixed It's a Fileplanet bug. Sometimes it will say "file not found", you just have to refresh it, and the file will appear.

Uhm, you built the mod, and yet have to download it from FP on such a frequent basis you have arrived at a 50% success rate calculation. ... is it just me..... Pyro_Monty
Bah, I knew someone would think it was weird so allow me to explain. You see, I get a lot of e-mails asking where to get the mod and so on. I therefore have to mail them back links. So... I have to first find the link through the GRnet DL section. I'm not just trying to boost the DL count...
