Chems
**IMAGE HEAVY 56Kers! (Which isnt me anymore ) Before I was banned, I was working on this with some of the other modders here, Swartz, Snowfella, Thumper, Marcinko and Snared Gambit. I dont much feel like doing it anymore, so its a dead mod, but I thought Id show you the models wed made. Have a read of this site to read up about the mod. swartsz
yes it was, only the polycounts were too high to be really effective ingame. but the concept and team were the best.
snared_gambit
Ah, that's too bad. Those models were awesome, and I was really proud of that m9 I made. Oh well, I'll save it for some other game\mod.
SnowFella
It's indeed a shame this crashed and burned as I enjoyed making high detail models for a change. Spent alot of time on the L85's/L86, M240B and AT4 that I really would of been better off spending on other projects, oh well...can't be helped unfortunately. Chems
All though its dead in its original format, I have a strong feeling that this mod my crop up again in Far Cry or Half Life 2 or Stalker sometime in the future. I dont intend to let the models go to waste. But I will of course be getting in contact with the people who made it. I must say that part of the reason I canned the idea was a) lots of work for a community for the better good of the gamers lots of work of time and effort, vs play the best games that are out now, something I havent done since I got GR, so for a while I intend to be a player like I always was. The second reason was that we'd created quite a lot of organizational post in the hidden forum Rocky kindly set up for us, though Im informed that in the upgrade our forum was lost. Modding is a mad past time spend hours and hours workin on things for the simple gain of getting to see something new in game. Now for me, I fancy making a kind of hitman mod for one of the new games, and have also said to Prozac that I would work on a Far Cry total conversion, which is currently called Frontline. 5th SOG was a good idea, but IMHO Joint Ops (which I have these days) easily squishes any need for the type of game we were planning. It has all the elements already in it. Im still working with the Jedi Timelines team though, but till a new mod idea catches me, Im just going to be a player for a good while. My apologies to the team, but it wont go to waste Im sure.
ZJJ
The second reason was that we'd created quite a lot of organizational post in the hidden forum Rocky kindly set up for us, though Im informed that in the upgrade our forum was lost. The forums, in there entirety, are not lost. We need to work out the best way to have them as part of the boards. Either a better password or fully accessible to all members. They no longer can be invisible and accessible as they were in the old version of the forums.
