The_Slink
Ah, no that caption is for the weapon above it. From top to bottom it is Tabuk, Tokarev, Sterling. I guess I should have made that more clear Oops. Still very good.
yeutinh
no the GPMG doesnt fire at the moment, i dont think its possible to have a fixed weapon on a moving wheeled vehicle, if anyone know how this could be done i'd be interested to know... I was wondering if you can get it to behave somewhat similar to those MGs on tanks ? Or if you can get a gunner to stay with it and fire it automatically. Just some ideas, and no I can't code. You are correct though, the gun turret tags work for all vehicle types

Pyro_Monty
I was bored and thought this thread needed revived so I made the suppressed version of the Sterling submachine gun, the L34A1.
Sgt. Slaughter
I've never really had much input on my weapons so I can't tell if you guys like them or not... so I just keep pluggin' away Well let me just say I think the weapons in your mod are awesome! I especially like the Diemaco's. So keep pluggin away you're doing a great job!
Suicide Commando
Yup, very cool. Gonna be nice once it's textured.
Pyro_Monty
Texturing... ah, that's the thing... Well, actually texturing isn't the thing, it's just getting between making the geometry and applying the texture that bothers me. I just can never get round to making the texture itself from all my various images. I swear, I've opened up Photoshop two douzen times in the last week, ready to make the texture and then BAM... nothing happens And Slaughter, just to clarify (and so it doesn't seem like I'm taking others' credit) El Patricio actually made the Diemacos. Did a damn fine job on them too. Edit - Hey, maybe if weapons master Earl made another texturing tutorial I'd feel better about it all... Smeagol
can anyone drive the jeep? or just the computer?
Pyro_Monty
Just the artificial intelligence (AI), I'm afraid. The GR engine doesn't support the player driving vehicles which, many would argue, is a good thing. I'll leave that up to you to decide
TheBlakeness (HotPants)
personally I think that it would be kind of cool if in GR you could drive the jeeps or like the CRRC, because it doesny take any real special training to drive those, but like the helos....no way, you would lose all realism right there. Pyro_Monty
*Performs CPR on the thread* Yup, she's got a pulse! Okay, I've been back to work on enemy weapons, this time a Smith and Wesson .38 Special Model 64 revolver. Not really sure what kind of enemy will use it but... here ya go:
Tollen
You got the ordinary terroist punk that the CRW goes after. And then you have the PIRA. But I would really like to see a reloading clip... A thug that thrusts a new clip up through the grip
Pyro_Monty
Yup, I made it with the IRA in mind but that would mean that you might not see it in a mission for quite some time. Reloading, hehe yeah it's not gonna look too pretty, that's for sure
The_Slink
Do you have to have SEMv.1? or is this stand alone?<prays it is><isn't too hopeful>

However, version one is tiny for what's in it! At 20MB you can't go wrong! You're lucky we were so space-efficient. However (again), this patch might be quite big itself... but it's impossible to tell this early on.
