Guess what the official low altitude speed record for an aeroplane is, yep less than 1000mph.

Pfft how can you buy this for the SP none of the COD SP canyou play tactically you have to push forward to stop constant respawn of enemies. Best thing about MW was the awesome customer made maps and the mods or rules that slowed the game down.

ARMA2 vs Ghost Recon 4
custard~SPARTA~ replied to lexsis's topic in Arma 2 & OA - General Discussion
Calling GRAW tactical in any sense is like calling a Volkswagen Beetle equal to a Porsche. People want GRAW to move back toward realism because that's what drew them to Ghost Recon in the first place. GRAW is utter rubbish in comparison to its legacy: Ghost Recon, Rogue Spear, and Rainbow Six. GRAW is just as linear as CoD4, IMO. At least CoD4 has nice graphics, and doesn't bog you down with needless gadgetry. I played GRAW tactically with my old mates and after one hour I was exhausted it wasn't the norm but it was doable. I'm loving Arma2 but the peeps I'm playing with have only achieved the same level one time. It's all about the peeps you play with. -
I was about six foot tall now I'm about four foot Can't watch past that We owe them so much

No Quarter BIS are tiny compared to CM and have a history of releasing a poor product but continue with patches to make it better and there products are aimed at people that use this forum. CM own a product name and what have they said so far thats important to me No mission editor for console No lean whatsoever No dedi server file at launch and no promise of when it may be available What do you want a game aimed at you that fails at the start but they try to fix it or a game thats aimed at 10 year olds with NO promise of what you want?

There is a copy of every one of Dan Browns books in my house I will not be rushing out for another as the the formula was too repetitive for me. I bet my wife still gets a copy lol

Highlights from the Czech preview from GamesCom
custard~SPARTA~ replied to Big's topic in Military Tactical Realism Titles
That must just be for consoles because on the official forums there are threads about mods. To say it will not be possible to add user made units for the PC version is nonsense. CM wouldn't allow such detailed discusions if it wasn't a practical possibility. -

It runs on my son's dinosoar PC and he says it's quicker than XP. Apart from that home networking is easier but not much else.

First impressions (Demo)
custard~SPARTA~ replied to Rocky's topic in Arma 2 & OA - General Discussion
Between Cobol, X-Wind and Dai-San we now have a dedicated server running on the machine our COD stuff runs on. One word SMOOTH Ok so it's only one PvP mission I've tried but it's so smooth I think even CQB may be doable, I never thought I'd be able to say that and it's before the modders have worked there majic. Ok wrong thread as this is about the full version not the demo but hey I'm excited. -
