Im getting red dots all over my screen, when i open a window etc they apear around the edge!

It happens all the time, not just while gaming!

The 6800GS i have is only running at 41.

It seems to have only happened since i installed tomb raider, but now i have formatted and resinstalled windows and its doing it again!

Its fine until i install the nvidia drivers (Off disc or updated ones from website)

Anybody know how to stop this?

Thanks

This only occurs with LCD screens. I have a 6800GT and this happens to me if I reawaken the computer from stand by mode. If I turn the computer on with a fresh reboot, then the prob goes away.

So don't use Stand By mode. Just turn off your computer when you are not using it.

Note the screensaver/shut off monitor doesn't affect it though.

Had problems like that before, but it was an ATI and it was probably a screwed card from overheating... but since yours isnt, i say... its a bust.

Im also having 5000 problems with nvidia drivers, guess theyre the same as ATI afterall... pfft.
