Wabby69 Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 Im getting red dots all over my screen, when i open a window etc they apear around the edge! It happens all the time, not just while gaming! The 6800GS i have is only running at 41. It seems to have only happened since i installed tomb raider, but now i have formatted and resinstalled windows and its doing it again! Is their anyway around installing nvidia drivers? Cos i cant play games unless the nvidia ones are installed, but the nvidia ones screw my card up !! Anybody know how to stop this? ← This only occurs with LCD screens. I have a 6800GT and this happens to me if I reawaken the computer from stand by mode. If I turn the computer on with a fresh reboot, then the prob goes away. So don't use Stand By mode. Just turn off your computer when you are not using it. Foxtrot360 Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 (edited) Had problems like that before, but it was an ATI and it was probably a screwed card from overheating... but since yours isnt, i say... its a bust.
