richmondskin
sorry i havent been able to lend a hand the past few months with all of the problems, ingeloop. I bought a house that is over a hundred years old and have been busy getting it fixed up. i should be getting phone and cable TV lines installed soon, so i can start being helpful again. and not have to use the PC at the library. im glad i read someone liked the missions....ingeloop and I spent a lot of time on this, and it's comments like this that makes it all worth the time spent. once you all have had a chance to play this mod, i have been busy scripting some new missions for a possible SANDF add on. hope to see you all sooner than later since it really stinks not being able to get my GR.net fix! The_Slink
Glad something's happening at last. Now to try and find a way to get this.... Is the first mission still mine? I liked that one. How closely were you able to stick to the storyline I sent you? Sorry, just very curious now.... TRC
Be sure not to focus too hard on the wording in the ike log, remember yours and Jokers were saying the same thing about light_halo stuff, yet his was a simple chr problem and yours a music.xml. Rocky, did you have blakops_opforvehicles mod activated? It's required with the sandf mod to be activated.

Rocky
I got it working! I am almost too embarrised to say what went wrong. I have 3 hard drives, and 2 of them have GR installed on them. I was installing the new version of SANDF on the harddrive I used to game on, not the working installation! So the whole time I have been trying to run the buggy first version that was still installed on the hard drive I use for gaming now

Rocky
I didn't have time to try the patch, I read the instructions, I think people should really just download the new full version Here's my first thoughts on this mod...I have to make this short so forgive the shorthand... Nice pre-mission breifings, with correctly interactive objective buttons linked to the command map - nice touch. Error - !find key error on alot of kits (Sniper 1 - 7 for example) not sure what's up with that. The in mission briefings that pop up ahve quite alot of text, and not alot of time of read them, I wouldn't mind, but I missed the punchline for the joke on the heli LOL! The first "mission" isn't really a mission, but I enjoyed it! It had a real feal to it that the stock mission do not, this was due to the number of freindlies (SADF) around the map, the cool vehciles, and the hovering helicopters, this made it very "real" and was a great opener for the campaign. The 2nd mission is where the action really started, I enjoyed this one and managed to complete it, even though my team was pretty much devastated. I thought it was a great mission and I enjoyed ordering my platoons around the map as I set up the rescue and barn clearance. If the rest of the missions are of the same calibre I look forward to completing the whole campaign, something I haven't done for quite a while! Oh and there are unlockable specialists too - another nice professional touch. Great stuff, loved the SADF camo too, and the weapon models, and the vehicle models! I'd like to do a full review for this mod. Congrats to all involved.

Kurtz
You can fix the "find key" problem by formatting the strings.txt file.
