Just read an article in the March issue of Comp. Games mag. where their talking with Gearbox's Randy Pitchford about BIA. The statement he made gives me hope that this will indeed be a game worth owning. " BIA has thrown the heavy scripting now in vogue for shooters right off the battlefield. He equates that sort of thing to a bad TV show and to be more blunt about it, we think that's CRAP. You should see a lot more chances to make things happen rather than just watch them happen. That's one smart man and that's the kind of talk I want to hear about war games.

Won't be to long before we'll find out if this is the real deal or just another MOH knock off. Sure looks and sounds good.

Have you seen the walkthrough video? This is no MOH knockoff.

One never knows for sure until the proof is in the pudding. In a word Soldner.

This game is very similar to FSW with the use of 2 squads to suppress and flank, plus, the ability to get into the thick of it and shoot some enemy yourself. Plus the very good iron sights and tanks you can give orders to. Plus the authenticity of the maps. This game is more like GR for WW2 and has nothing in common with the slew of arcade games.

Anyone read anything anywhere about the level of mod support that will be offered for the game? It's on the Unreal Warfare engine so in theory it would be as mod-able as UT2004 but that would depend on their license, and where they want to go with the game.

VU for example promises mod support that's somewhat more advanced then the vanilla UT2004 on SWAT 4...

Sup, why would you prefer the Xbox over the PC version of the game? It would seem a sure bet there will at lest be level tools for the PC game making that a 'shoe-in sure bet' better value IMHO...

Just played the first few levels. Long load times but definitely the best WWII shooter ever. The feel is just right. No magical crosshairs in front of you. And the tone, the respect of the subject is the way it should be. Beautiful work.
