WytchDokta Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 Hey guys, I'm working on a SWAT Police mod for GR. lol...I'm English and I'm doing a SWAT Police mod, and the English don't have SWAT police. Something I wanna know about their uniforms. In most pics I seen, SWAT guys are wearing all black with helmet etc. Except it varies for other police deparments right? It's called 'SWAT TEAM' by Hans Halberstadt and is in the 'POWER Series'. It looks a bit like a kid's book but is filled with images and information about training, tactics, weaponry and equipment. I'm not sure how tactically correct or realistic it is but the uniforms sure look good. Plus the whole flashlight on the weapon is just cool. terp09 Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 also look at Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear, and Raven Shield. but essentially, the uniforms are all black, and knee and elbow pads, tac vests, balaclavas, helmets, goggles, and some have "riot gear" you know, that big helmet w/ faceguard and a big shield. ragodamdiculus Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 They do use MP-5s M-4s they also use shot guns and dont forget about the sharpshooters the use black, blue, subdued urban camo, and i think ive seen green, and maybe grey. they also use gasmasks, and black tac vests Sharpshooters dont use helmets though, from what ive seen. Besides the M4, they also use the CAR 15. About other goodies.....Do you think about put some Smoke or Stun Grenades? It would be very cool to have an entire Urban Campaign, just those on SWAT 3 CQB About those skins....i'm posting some pics. You may, if you have urban ops, want to check out DTD's Tac mod, and their hk mod, good cqb items, along with some skins to give you an idea what kind of swat teams are out there.
