In this post at the official forums (which Rocky pointed out on the news page), it still says

[GR] Mode:

Short missions with a single objective in cooperation with up to 12 players.

So, the official line is still that there is only one objective.

What if that one objective was "complete the mission" but the mission included multiple objectives?

Hey, it was a just a thought!

So in other words... mission objective.... destroy 3 tanks and c4 the bridge leaving no one behind and "Clearing the path for the rest of the forces"

Mission based objectives.

= A number of different missions with multiple objectives within them.

And the abillity to mode within this game type.
