Donkey Fart Posted April 8, 2003 Share Posted April 8, 2003 Will or is anyone making a decent british army mod!?! i've used a few and none have really got me except British Elite Forces mod now that was stunning! Thought someone might have a go seein as the War with Iraq might have triggered people's imagination! I personally could give advice on certain things to do with the British Army and what would be cool and not i'll leave the modding to those wonderful people can! pleaseeeeeeeeeee! can we have a decent British Army Mod! Avey Posted April 8, 2003 Share Posted April 8, 2003 Have you tried 22nd SAS Equipment mod? That has great skins and a great british feel to it. Along time ago there was going to be a British Infantry Mod but the maker stopped after the public beta went down like a lead balloon. ( ) I liked it though... Chems Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 Funny you should say but Ive got a work in progress of a British infantry mod. Was gonna keep it a secret but I will tell you. I was working on a Decent L96. This is early pic. We plan to do just skins of Desert Jungel and Snow (all on Nigel Tunney CHR)and include the GPMG, L96, (New SA80 and LSW by Jed) and maybe a LAW. Also I plan to make a Warrior fighting vechile. Then there is going to be my snow retextured Fort with mission then also the mission in normal green style. I was workin on another mod as a learning experience but It will need a map first so i decided to do this. Max 1 month Id say. Still workin on the L96. Day sacks? Get me a pic and I can try to make it as a spine attachment. Cause I was thinking of having a demo guy with the massive LAW across the top. In fact he's close to completing it last I heard. You can see the ss's of his specialist characters on his site. He said that he was going to leave his job to work on GR modding so that he could use it in a portfolio for 3 modeling for a new job. Basically it replaces all the Ghost regulars with Royal Marine Commandos with varying gear/camos. Donkey Fart Posted April 11, 2003 Author Share Posted April 11, 2003 Noticed you need to lose the Webbing pouch from the front otherwise the poor soul can;t get prone properly..maybe 2 days sacks because we usualy usethe two togther 1 for NBC kit and the other can vary from clean combats to whatever the situation requires .Are the soldiers going to vary as in 1 with webbing and others with chest rigs!?
