Becky89 Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 On average and it's kinda weird, im finding that it takes me nearly exactly 30 minutes on the dot to complete missions on Elite. (In GR2 some take just on average 15 mins) Any1 else the same? I like it when u come across missions where u can take ur time n take nearly an hr to finish missions (did this once with a GR Summit Strike mission). Also wat r some good missions downloads for just GR (including IT + DS)? I play with mods all the time online so i like to play without them offline to add some freshness (yeah i know its weird lol). So what missions should i download that use all of GR (with expansion packs) where the missions are light on tanks, i don't a few, but i prefer infantry fire fights. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
deleyt Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 Why don't you surprise yourself and download a random mission from the Mission Download Section? As for missions lasting only 30 mins: GR has a limited battle-area of 400x400 meters, so the amount of objectives is rather limted aswell, unless you want to hike back and forth between the same areas. I find that GR missions take me about 10min and some take 15min at the most, so at this point the entire campaign in [GR] takes me less than 4 hours. You mentioned Summit Strike, so I'm assuming that you also have an Xbox? I would definitely consider OFP. I know this sounds like heresy, but with maps that are 100 square kilometers (yes that is correct) it is a tough game to beat. Give it a go.
