Pingvinx Posted October 19, 2004 Share Posted October 19, 2004 (edited) I decided to start on this mod I`m gonna call "European Special Forces". It`s a basic skin and weapons mod. If one of you mission scripters wants to team up, please do. Because I`m no scripter. But for now, it`s all about skins of Special Forces from Europe. I have allready made some skins which I think turned out well. I`m planning to have 12 spesialists from 12 different countries in the original campaign. It will also contain skins to DS and IT. I have made specialists from Poland, Germany, Britain, Norway and Russia. I`m missing a few here Do You guys have any suggestions to which countries to include? So if I make some Albanian Gipsy-skins or something, it shouldn`t be to simular By the way, how many Ranger/Seal-mods it out there? Try "index" on the GR search engine or my name and it will hopefully take you to the right place. I've tried to include all the different European skins available (both as skin mods, specialists from campaigns etc.). Certain countries have loads of mods whereas others are totally without. If you could, try and get permission to use user created character models. The originals are just plain boring, the IT booine chr's are cool though. I think it will be different from most of the mods out there.. ← so is mine, the pics you see on the first page are old. all skins will be 1024x1024 and are made from custom textures. the only difference is that I use forces from all around the world and you only from europe. I thought about including an italian, but I haven`t decided yet.. I think I will have a hard time finding good pictures of a turk uniform.. It depends a bit on what kind of uniform you have made, but I know the regular one pretty well. Are you planning on for example to have FSK (Forsvarets spesialkommando) as the norwegian special force then I'm not sure what kind of uniform they are using, but I guess it depends a bit of the situation they are into. I think it can be really good.. About the czech camo, I just waitning for the models.. I was planning to do the job myself.. But, stupid me, got the wrong version of 3d studio max. I got V.7.
