BigSM Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 (edited) ok some things they say -he played 5/6 levels and says all are fabulous -the version they got was without hdr and special lighning effects -no civilians in the city, but they say it's because ubisoft wanna have a game with no collateral damage which will not be rated to hard that it's only for 18+ -one hit one kill -everytime when you start the level new. enemies are always somewhere else so it doesn't get boring -in the video the commando interface looks a bit like Swat 4 -tactical map (the one you saw in the trailer) is like the commander interface in bf2. It's real time and you see enemies running -no diamonds on the tactical map -they love the cam when you see in black & white what a teammate sees. camera is on the right of the head and the give good words on it, that it's calculated realistic. -storyline is awesome they say from the video -you can look around in the heli and shoot enemies. in that scene the minigun was used by ai -zooming animation of the scoped weapons you see there is like a G36 or L85A1 scoping animation in raven shield -when you aim at a ghost the diamond fills orange -when he shoots a burst it looks like not so many recoil -peeking animation looks very smooth and sorry I don't post copyrighted material When I compare the level what I saw in the video with the 360, it looks like there are a lot more objects than in the 360 version. Or that the weapons dont have much recoil "as long as" you burst? Did you happen to notice if they were able to shoot the AI's accurately while running, like in the UBI trailer? Thanks again. And I'm pretty sure the magazine wouldn't be to happy if it 'leaked' out as it could be copyright protected. They are most of the time very sketchy. ← but its still in game footage ← right, but it's copyrighted as said ... and a transscript of the in game footage is not very helpful let's wait some days and other magazines will show up previews and I think we will see some GT TV stuff on gametrailers ← striker i, like bo, was talking about the intelligence of the people, i know its copyrighted material. They got the full hands on and are in the know. ← That may possible, but what they showed up of GRAW PC news was mainly 1:1 translation of Ubi PR texts and they showed a lot of 360 footage as PC info, just not trying to tell the user the difference between PC and 360. Ok, this is what most magazines do, but Germany has a big tradition in PC gaming. There are still more print magazines for PC games than for consoles and there are still more people playing PC than console (this could be change in the future ). So by mixing content of both versions in the news they confuse some traditional PC gamers. Not only on Gamestar of course. I'm not a premium member so I can't talk about that video.
