Hmmm, has anyone noticed when Krambo is on, T1 is missing, and vice versa? Could they be DUM DUM DUM, the SAME PERSON?! Never fear I is still here. Not had anytime to get online the last two weekends. Busy with stuff in the house and at work. The TK'ing will resume shortly, and to quote my alter ego "Jog on!" Zebb has dug out a bunch that we are testing on 74.86.116.136:28961 map test server (password is test). The autodownload is not on but the maps are available for download here http://www.legionofsparta.net/dlm/index.ph...ame&srt=yes we will pick 2 maps by today and announce them here. If you guys are in agreement we will add them to the crouch only cycle. At that time they will auto download and the alternate download will be more user friendly. Instructions for installing downloaded maps For those wanting to test the maps on our server, download all the files from the previously mentioned link. Each .rar file has either a folder with 3 files in it or just 3 files. Each map has 2 .ff files and 1 .iwd file On your pc find the COD4 Game folder e.g. C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Once inside, locate usermaps and Mods In mods open the spartamod1 folder C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\spartamod1 Place all of the .iwd files into this folder Now go to the usermaps folder C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\usermaps Every map requires a folder which contains the name of the map if the .rar file does not have a folder you will need to create one, for example mp_winters_brecourt.zip contains the following files (but no folders) mp_winters_brecourt:load.ff mp_winters_brecourt.iwd mp_winters_brecourt.ff You need to create a folder in usermaps entitled mp_winters_brecourt Then put the 2 .ff folder in there. Once this is done you can join the server the password is test As I said the maps chosen for the crouch only server will be a bit easier to download and install and autodownload will be enabled. I urge you to download the maps beforehand to prevent loss of game time, particularly if you have a slow download speed for these sites. It got pretty busy in there didn't it? 11 v 11 at one point I think which was cool. To be honest when our team got the nade spamming warning I felt we were receiving quite a few 'throw and hope' ones too and I'd just died at the end of one but I think it's a good rule to have and to reinforce as it does help to enhance the crouch only game. Still loving the white camo - we look like a squad of painters and decorators from a distance. Hating the fact I am still so inept in most games - I have got to improve my reaction times I also suffered COD4 sod's law a few too many times last night - i.e you're checking one entrance to your position and the exact moment you turn away to check the other entrance someone appears at the first entrance and pops me Nonetheless and despite all that whining I had a good night's gaming.
