Dick Splash
I highlighted a word and tried to 'Insert Link' but it created a new word and positioned it at the begining of the post. I tried it a few times. In the end I dragged it to where the word is and then deleted the word. DS

Dick Splash
I've tried to add a new link to a word in the same way and it still does it. Highlight word, click 'Insert Link', paste link and then click 'Insert Link' at the bottom. The word should then be underlined and linked yes? Also, I've been trying to do a few searches with several words and names and it's bringing up unrelated threads. The first time I tried it, it worked. I tried again soon after using the same words and names and it doesn't even come up. I've used both search methods at the top of the page. wombat50
Sometimes I have trouble creating posts and using link functions at gr.net. Sometimes my cursor disappears entirely. Rare but it happens. I use Firefox mostly. I have switched to Chrome when having troubles and it handles it with no problem. I still prefer FireFox though. Rocky
Never ever had an issue on this forum with FF, but I see Dannik is posting so I'll leave it to him. I am guessing it is something to do with DS PC though, like a browser plugin.

Dick Splash
DS: User configuration.I finally got around to installing IE9 the other day, and I've found I've had to make a few tweaks. Could that be anything to do with it? DS
Dannik
Very well could. I Can't install IE9 anywhere at the moment to test for myself, but I have continued to hear from those little places that 9, while a due upgrade, breaks things again.
