mantis90 Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 I have a p4 3.oghz evga 7800gt 2gigs of ram Sound Blaster Live 24bit Whenever a teamate next to me fires his weapon, I cant hear my gun shoot, just the bullets hiting walls, etc.....All my drivers are up to datte....######? DisgruntledArchitect Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 I have a SB 24-bit as well and have been experiencing similar issues, primarily, the sound of my own gun being non-existent (this is w/o a silencer). In addition, I find that static creeps into my sound after several minutes of play. Both of these problems were cleared up (temporarily) by going into the audio control panel, changing (or not changing) some settings, and clicking 'apply.'
