  1. progress report: nothing new really.. I have been too busy lately to really get involved with this. Just some camofaces
  2. Tilliboy those skins look awesome. And I will try that trick you mentioned as soon as I get home. Thanks in advance..
  3. no nothing to do with behaviours, they are fine. Only the model is changed..hitpoints, behaviours etc are intacted. Its just that damn shiny problem. I have tried everything, even editing those bump maps. Nothing seems to work
  4. Hi, just couple of images. First one is almost ready force recon 1.5 skin and second one is from green berets skin, (if I ever get it work nicely )
  5. Here is a little preview pic of updated recon force skin. I will add a lot more details to it so this is just a sneak peak.
  6. Thank you for you feedback Ravager. Im working on updated version of this skin. In the new version the boots will be much darker, there will be more nice little details and also there will be marine armpatch.
  7. It seems that there is no problem when you edit allies or MP mexican skins. I get those shiny skins with sniper and rebel rifleman models. I dont know about other enemy models..havent had time to test yet
  8. JTF-2, you can easily replace the ghost models with any other model from the game by tweaking "u_teammates XML document". The document is in \Data\units\beings folder. When you open the dokument there is line that says : <unit type="being" name="teammate_brown" slot="2"> <model file="/beings/ghost_brown/ghost_brown.xml"/> You can change the model file to anything you want, for example: <model file="/beings/mexican_sf_marksman/mexican_sf_marksman.xml"/> Now your teammate Brown looks like mexican sniper. The only problem is that when you try to tweak the model in photoshop and then save..the model is too shiny. I have tried to save it Interpolated Alpha -format --->still shiny as plastic. I really would need some help with this problem
  9. I wanted to use the game's enemy models for my ghost and then adjust them a bit in photoshop. Here is first pic..nothing done yet for the model
  10. In picture some marines wear desertcamo boots...well no big deal because you can easily modify the skin with photoshop download link for skin: http://www.badongo.com/file/708661
  11. its finally ready.. Do you guys know any good sites where I can upload my skin?
  12. Thank you guys for your positive feedback. I was on holiday this weekend so I apologise for not answering your questions. I will upload the skin as soon as I get it right. For now I'm bit unhappy with the camo texture..it looks a bit blurry when you look it very close. I'm working on it. Here are some screenshot without the lizzardcamopaint for you Scubaman And for bugkill..I just downloaded the camopattern. Just google it..
  13. I tried different kinds skull patches for my ghosts. This is one of them. Please feel free to share your thoughts. (more to come...)
  14. One more pic .. I still haven't figured how to use models from enemy soldiers or how to add different gears to my ghosts. I allways get errors
  15. But I need some jungle outfit. I tried to use the game's enemy model, the one with booney hat but couldn't make it work. Has someone already made skin that I could use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  16. Like Trident-za and Zorianarki, I feel that GRAW fulfilled all my dreams concerning tactical squad management and is truly a masterpiece. Close combat FtF felt nothing like this baby...But I really dont know about MP side of the game..because I only play SP and occasionally some LAN COOP. me so happy
  17. SteelHawk what a great post I'm so fed up with posts and users demanding some feature. I´m sure we all have some favorite mode to play, but we can´t have them all. Things change! And some don´t. This game will be one great joy ride. Thanks GRIN for all you effort :g_cheers:
  18. Ok, so I finally had chance to play GRAW for 360 and I was truly impressed how good my fellow ghost buddys AI was. They react realistic to incoming threads and try to find any kind of cover. They also work together: when one of my team members tries to suppress the enemy, others move to safe and reload their guns. Truly amazing! They cover all angles by them selves and move like you expect highly skilled soldiers to move. I have searched this kind of movement and animations since first rainbow six game (PC). For me the immersions comes mostly of my AI team. I wanna feel like I'm part of one tough specops/antiterror team. After playing about 10 hours of singleplayer campaign I have witnessed only one stupid act of my ghost team. So to the development team-- I'm now your biggest fan and this game stays in my collection forever. So THANK YOU for fulfilling my little dreams. I just had to get this of my chest. When you have searched something special for 8 years and finally found it..well you just have to shout it
  19. I hope they'll put much more effort into multiplayer than singleplayer. Singleplayer is for 2-3 weeks ( finishing campaign 2-3 times), multiplayer is supposed to be for 2-3 years. ← Say what? 2-3 weeks ? more like 5 years like the original kept me playing single player You could play it so many times and make different kind of solutions how to execute your plans.
  20. I have just bought my 360 and going to pick GRAW for it this weekend. Its sad to see that after playing week or so you guys are selling it. I must be the only one who still plays games for single player only. I played the original Rainbow Six just last weekend and Ghost Recon is also very much in use, almost daily. But it seems that you are most unhappy with the multiplayer part of GRAW? I sure hope that GRAW wont disappoint me with its single player campaing. Like Lockdown did. But what can I do..I just have to collect them all. So happy that Grin likes it -CLASSIC-
  21. There's some small pics of the various elements of the mod on the official site. http://www.yearofthemonkey.org/ ←
  22. Could someone take some screenshots from this mod? I would like to see how those Seals look like before I buy ghost recon again. (too bad I was forced to sell it years ago when I really needed some cash ) I would really appreciate if someone could do that..thanks
