  10. Well here goes...I live in Germany..Home of VW, and of couse own two myself. They are usually very good cars no matter which model you choose. A 91 jetta is a mark 2... the 90 bhp version is prolly your best bet... cheap to run, and one of the most reliable versions too....One of the biggest problems with the 90-93 year ranges is the heater cooler!... this is a little raidiator behind the dashboard... This thing costs roughly 20 pounds...but the orig part is prone to bursting..VW actually called all models of this year range back to have them changed.. as it came form the mk1 golf!!!... Make sure that has been done!!..If it bursts all whole interior will be flooded with coolent, and talking out of my own experience, the there after repairment isnt cheap! Usually ok with most models but not the VR6. The 90Bhp motor will hold a long time, if the intervals are held, the75 bhp is too slow for the car and the TD,s are troubled head probs.. The 174bhp VR6 is a fun factor..and not a cheap one (depending on you country i suppose)..I own a German Spec Passat Estate GT VR6 Exclusive (190 bhp)..from 1992..it has now over 130TKM, and it is a Autobahn Killer at 255Kmh (BENZ im Coming) and the Gearbox is amazing...but for normal everyday usage ive come to the point where im able to say...Keep you finger away from the VR6. Its a engine that was broght out to fast, without real testing..(alas VW dont produce them anymore). Due to their now realitivly cheap price most 18 year olds bye them and race the ass of em.... not good... its a car built for the Autobahn, and not racing.

  18. You'll be hard pressed to find anything about the British army that isn't Yep, i was in it long enough.
  19. Yeah, I wasn't disputing the colour of the SDG beret (I have four or five friends in the Regiment) but in that pic... it looks nothing like grey. The green beret is worn by heaps of units - Royal Green Jackets, Adjutant Generals Corps, Intelligence Corps, Royal Marines... gets quite confusing. Yep, listed that with the Green beret in my first post.... You are certainly right it can get confusing.
  20. The AAC beret is alot brighter blue, i served attached/ and non attached to the tank corps for 11 years, here in Germany,on my last bace is the 1st AAC. The Dark Green is also RMC, forgot to add that CMC Davies, but i have never seen the light grey beret on the Reme guys, either in workshop or on exersize. I know for fact that the RSDG, has a light grey beret. See here
  21. Normal British Army Service berets, are issued Dark Blue, the only Issued BLACK Beret in the BA is for the Tankies., the one below the para beret is tank corps, the one to the far right is norm, issue, Green is pay/intel/royal marine corps. The so called lighter blue is infact light grey and belows to the RSDG corps. (scot tank corps)
