We shall see Daztrek, i just got my full copy off GRAW 5 mins ago, Installing it now!!!, ive just noticed there is a ATI Flyer in the box aswell, i wonder why?.

Got my copy of GRAW today, doesnt get officaly released here until tomorrow, i had pre-ordered it at EB Games, went to the shop and told the guys there its out everywhere already so he gave me a copy. Still didnt put any out on the shelves though!, Installing now!!

Ok ive done this 3DMARK05 Benchmark too, I had to take the core speed down from 560 to 555, it ran stable in the ATI benchmarks, but not on this one, the whole system hung on the test in the woods with that funny green thing flying about, My result: I got a higher 3DMark score than Daztrek, hes got a higher CPU Score, but i think thats ok for a 3000+ against a 3700+. Edit: anyone else with the same sort of System Specs Nvidia or Ati care to post there results?

The X850XT seems to top out around 550/575(1150), so you have an extremely good overclock. It looks like you lucked out and got cherry chips. It happens. I have an Athlon64 3000+ Winchester core (1.8GHz) that will overclock to 2.7GHz on air. That's 50%. Like I said, it happens. But there's no reason to abuse your gift. You should consider backing off to 550/575. I never run anything at its max indefinitely. ← I would agree with you!, although mine is stable at 560/575, i too have the 3000+ Winchester core, you can OC it too 50% . Mines at 10% though Bios, but 50% man thats alot. I think Moezters Settings are too high and somthing will die very quickly if kept like that!, ive D/Loaded this 3D Mark2005 so lets see what that says.

Hmm i havent got 3d Mark 2005, EDIT: Downloading it now EDIT: here are my results with your settings: Your settings/My PC Note: I cannot set my Memory speed any lower than 540 as i have the X850XT and thats the lowest it goes!, i got roughly 150 points more than you in your first test, so that isnt much. I see in your second test your at the same results as i have got above, try too OC the Memory speed to 540 and leaving the core speed at 520 thats the same as a normal X850XT. Then try 560/575, thats the same as my OC settings. Dont forget m8, you have a 3700+ i only have a 3000+

I just done some testing, i took your clock settings (Daztrek) and those from Moezter aswell. Results: Moezters settings caused my system to crash, the benchmark ran ok to start with in speed mode but as soon as it changed to quality the grafics went all funny and the computer hung!, these setting are too high and i wouldnt recommend them at all, even taking his settings down from 585/609 too 585/600 or 580/580 caused them same problems!. I think after a short period of time he will need a new GFX Card is he carries on with those settings. In speed mode i was getting alot higher results with his settings than with my settings, i couldnt see the Quality results as the screen was all messed up, the graph at the end was messed up too, but the result was about 1120 points higher than his end result. I havent exported the graph because its all messed up. I run his settings 3 times in total, and then lower Ratings as above listed, but as i said they all messed up the whole grafics on my Computer.

Mine: 560/575 His: 585/609 I would personaly go any higher as i have already, it will become very unstable and at his speeds the card will proberly fry sooner or later. Minimum i had was 43(open land and alot of People/cars/firing). Card runs nice and cold too, my Tower shows all temps Cpu/GPU/MB, it never has been over 50°C. Ohh and follow that tweak guide as posted on the main news page here!, but use the ATI Guide EDIT 2: hmm i see you have the AMD 3700+, hmm i only have a 3000+.

What catalysts are you using?, i followed the tweak guide for GRAW as posted on the main news page here, if you read it and then click on the ATI tweak guide there are a load of helpful hints in there. Anyway im now using ATI 6.4 Catalysts but i see no benchmark tab.

My X800XT is clocked at X850XT and the game is unplayable with half decent eye candy. Its not the card as the card is good on every other game. X1800XT should make a better job of it but then hey for the same price get the XBOX360 the game looks good and runs like it should. Hurry up PS3 release me from PC upgrade mayhem. ← Dont agree there at all, my X850XT (not overclocked) plays Graw perfectly, 50-70fps no problem. All Graw settings on high.

Ive got the Powercolor X850XT 256mb and im getting 50fps and over with all settings on high, my cpu isnt as fast as yours (3200+ Amd 64) so you would be better off than me!, google the card for reviews, its the quickest 256 mb AGP card money can buy. (well it was when i bought it)

Well i d/loaded fraps and done a few screenshots:

yep 50°c hasnt been a degree higher!, maybe its because i have a total of 7 fans in the tower? MB temp never goes over 32°c and the CPU never goes over 43°C. Anyway i think there are lot of differences in the 850 cards themselves, i read alot of tests before i bought mine and the only reason i went for it was because the Powercolor card was the quickest of them all. The Poworcolor X800XT is just as fast as a normal ATI 850XT, and the PowercolorX850XT PE was alot quicker than any other X850XT PE in all the tests i read. I think this card is great, its just a shame that it takes no longer than a few months to become "old".

Hmm ive got the Powercolor X850XT PE not overclocked at all and the game runs amazing, very quick and smooth!, i have also turned everything on high in the XML, the only thing that is slightly Jaggie are the black telephone wires running from the poles. Even if things explode around me, (playing coop lan) and all of us throwing our nades, it had no noticeable affect to my performance. In the catalyst center everything is on Quality and the AA setting is on "program decides". System: Amd 64 3200+ (Winchester) 2 gig corsair ram Asus A8V deluxe board Powercolor X850XT PE. Edit: The CPU is in Bios overclocked by 7%, i cant tell you the frame rates though as i dont have fraps. Only thing i have noticed is the card goes up to 50°c when under strain, but thats ok.

As already metioned the prone position is rubbish, especially with the sniper rifle, you so high you cant kill anything, lie against a curb and then your at a 45 degree angle (the skys the limit). also very annoying is when your AI Buddys runs out of ammo, he shouts out "reloading" every 10 seconds and wont shut up, i killed him in the end. EDIT: Game Over!! Huh?? what did i do wrong? and then the game wont quit/end, it just stays at the game over screen.

In Prone positon you can´t look up high enough, leaning on a curb is really bad as the lowest point you can shoot at is the skyline.

Lean up against a curb in prone, you cant shoot any lower than the skyline. lol
