  2. Flash bangs rock, Specialy when u got ya tinted lense S10 respo on!!!, Theres smaller versions called 'thundies' in the BA, No pin, Jus pull and strike. I got to nearly every single weapon which is in 'ACTIVE' service atm, Best was a £4k warhead from a LAW 80, Woulda rathered the money to be honest, But it shakes the earth like u would,nt believe. The most entertaining was a jungle clearence when i went over with Guards company with Prince William, We got to fire a mini gun to clear a path for target pop ups, The sound is immense!!!
  3. The bluey grey Beret is RAF issue to none pilots, Its also used by REME for temp issue when dealing with dirty work but still requireing head dress, That bottle green one is RMC
  4. I gotta agree with that, And these guys are supposed to be the cream of the elite! Surely haveing the weapon readied into the should all the time would take 2 secs to get an accurate shot off, And i gotta agree with the engine, It does feel heavy and sumtime clumsy when you walk near a wall and stop, When what you want to do is keep tight into it, It would be nice to see a more faster movement in game to clear rooms ASAP!!! Chargeing about like a trigger happy maniac!
  5. Thanks, I tried a similar link, But it was sum voice coms thingy But thanks again
  6. Can someone supply me a live link to d/l frost bite please? Thanks
  7. Lol, Enemy AI is crazy in GR, Did and assault on 2 guys with an M14, Shot the one guy, And the other ran off by a tree, But didnt start shooting, So i thought i,d be clever and walk upto him, As i neared him, The ###### tricked me into thinking he surrended, Then shot me jus as i pulled the pistol out rdy to double tap him in the head
  8. Will get onto em ASAP, Any recommendations on which too use in you opinion?
  9. I play Dark Age of Camelot, The money and time sink!!!, And also play Team fortress, Happily imagining its TF2 which better be sorting itself out soon!!!
  10. When i was in, We had a Sgt from 22 SAS called flighty attached to us in Iraq, A conversation arised about this one on what the procedure is if captured, As i was in Support Company Recon platoon, Bascialy the standard procedure is , Name, Rank, Number and nothing else, Only if we were holding vital information which could breach American or British strategic plans, Are we excpected to take our lives into our own hands, He then gave us a morale boosting speech on how takeing your life, Instead of cracking under interogation and leaking information, Can save more lives than yours. Distrubing but true, But then all your ever told is your expendable. Also both Andy Mcnabb and Chris Ryan are not there real names, Which didnt suprise me. I think maybe alot of situation written in books are exagerated to make sales better and the book more intensive!
  11. Some of those sigs are awesome, Im hopeing to get into it, But the Black Cell is the only one i,ve done, Its just finding the time to do it (Work) ,Anyone know any good programs to make banners other than psp?
  12. Foot Prints!!! In things like snow/sand Then maybe you can figure out the enemy patrols by looking at the routes patrols take, And be able to use claymores more efficently , And would make recon missings more exciteing. I,d also like to see camo selection like in rouge spear (Example) Probs sounds silly, But i play far more better knowing my guy looks so cool all in black with assault goggles on Oops, I think this was supposed to be in 'What you want to see in GR2' Its old age i tell you
  13. 7.62 anyday , But then i think it comes down to whos useing the weapon in the first place , An M16 grouping would be smaller than that of an AK, But i like the wood feature
  14. I swing the Tiger Beer way, Or i like castle lager (If thats counts) Or a fosters, But gotta have a kebab after if i hit the fosters <The morning after
  15. Heya all, Since i been in a desk job, I,ve had plenty of time to get bored, I een writeing a little summin, Completly made up, My Gramma is terrible, So bear with it till i get it sorted, An my dates may not match up, But when i get more time i,ll sort the finer points out, Just wanted an opinion on it really, An please let me know which parts u think maybe shouldnt be in there, Thanks It felt like only yesterday i was still running Operations with 'Black Cell' a Mercanarie Unit of men formed from various special forces units after serveing their couintry, Haveing been retired for some 6 years now i,ve settled down in a nice small village in Fiji, Called Labasa, Being in control of a Mercanerie Unit for 16 Years makes you a popular target of terrorism and foreign rebels, Who we ran operations against for various political Reasons, And when you have a family under your wing you tend to keep a low profile for the retireing years to come. I spent my younger years serveing in the US Navy, I started off as a Leutenant in command of military strategy for special forces units, Dureing my time there i learned alot on military tactics and how the special forces worked. I was offered active duty after serveing 4 years with intel, And went on to serve with 16th Special Forces Recon (SFR) unit where i was running Operations for NAVSPEC scouting the beaches for insertion points for future Operations, After serveing 2 years with 16th(SFR) i gained a distinction, And was offered a placement for selection with the US Navy SEALs, Along side me serveing in the same unit was a gentlemen named 'John Palanski', Not much was ever known about John, Other than he was a acrobat in the Minnasota National Circus, Why he joined the forces i,ll never know, Too look at i always wondered how he,d got so far in the Military, He was 5'5" with a slim build, He had greyish blonde hair with dazleing ice blue eyes, He had that look about him which the most febble minded would find rather disturbing but still he wasnt the usual special forces type, But he had a tactical mind with alot of determination, He was specially known for his skill with pistols, He shot for the US Navy Pistol Team, Winning most of the competitions includeing left hand shooting, Along the way we became good buddys, And most of our training we spent together. We both served with the US Navy SEALs for 11 Years, Reaching the rank of Command Master Chief, And put in Command of SEALs Team 2, Running Black Ops in hostile territories such as Cambodia, Siberia And also many middle eastern countries. After my 17 years service i felt i couldnt settle down to a normal routine job, I travelled to South Africa looking to become a Mercenarie advisor, As seen in a Soldier of fortune magazine. I was in contact with a Major James Conway, A British officer who served with 22SAS for 28 years of service and moved to South Africa after he retired, To join the Mossad, A Secret Operations Unit running Covert jobs for the Government, And also unoffical works, Off the books. He was a gentleman at heart with a will to succed in everything he did, He took pride in his looks and had the most well groomed mostache i,ve ever seen, After he left the Mossad he set up a Mercanry Unit back in 1975. He was involved in nearly every conflict in South Africa. He retired at the age of 62, The Mercnary unit disbanded in 1995, And at the same time things were looking up for South Africa and the use of mercenaries was seen as inappropriate, As US and UK forces were on active service there. Myself felt as though i couldnt get out of my military state, Always looking for the next confilt to arise. I had accumulated a reasonable sum of money dureing my time, Not really being able to spend it on much in South Africa other than vital equipment used by most Merc of that time. Thats when i set up and elite unit of Mercenaries called 'Black Cell'. In total we started of as a small team of 16, Each man had different skills in different aspects. Most were ex-Special Forces, And a few were from the mercenary unit Major James Conway had set up in 75, And couldnt settle down to normal life like myself. We had all contributed into Black Cell, Based in Saldnha, We had a small building down on the front o f the tradeing dock, Which later proved very useful for jobs carried out abroad for clients wanting work carried out in foreign countrys. We had purchased a Gazzel helicopter from the Ex Service vehicles auction back in Britain, We had modified it with Anti Radar detectors and it was fitted with RV-30 Stealth Rotors which made sound no louder than 70Dbs, This came in very useful for quick, Covert operations the Cell carried out all over the globe. By 1999 we had completly modified the basement of the building, And opened up a shop for trade, Selling Food resources very cheap for the locals, It also was a small income which was donated to the African Aids awareness which was set up after the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. It was the most unlikely place a Covert Mercenary Unit was likely to be operating, And thats how it stayed, We didnt want no attention from the local rebels or communists, They were very aware with us running night raids on the illegal weapon trades running from the Persian Gulf right through to Mozambique, But werent aware it was us, The Cell, Who was running them, US forces would employ us to carry outraids on them, But knew that South African Goverment Officals were in on the trade, And if they had found out the US had carried them out Thanks for takeing the time to read
  16. Not sure if its already been mentioned, But i,d like to see bi-pobs on sum sniper rifles ie;Barret.50 and sum MG's, So fire would be more accurate, And maybe have an Over watch option so the computer can act like a sentry, And you give a go code when he lets you know 'Sights are hot' , Just another quick one, It would be nice to see a quick action on grenade types, I hate the fact you have to change weapons to throw a grenades, As a suggestion to this, Maybe a soon as the grenade is released, The weapon switchs back automatically, But the accuracy could be a little off as the weapon is brought back up, But still allowing you to fire a mag in after the nade
  17. Thanks , The one thing i dont understand, Is the freedom of living, We fight for what alot of us call 'Freedom', But then is not being able to bring back duty frees back from holiday, Or be able to move to a country of your chocie what we call freedom? I can understand the balance of population, And reasons for indepenance, And also on trade. But if we had real freedom, Where it was one currency, A share of every trade, And even population throught, There would be no need for conflicts. But i guess it,ll never happen ay. Nevermind, We can still get the bad guys with our mouses and keyboards , And when it gets to tough /me puts on God mode
  18. Lol, Cant agree with you more, I think the Platoon Sgt of Recon in WG was the spawn of satan when it came to PT, And as much as i hated him, You cant help but thank him for makeing you work so hard, So everything else is easy. Still, Its always the ol' 'Put ya head down and GET THROUGH IT'!!! or theres the 'GET A GRIP OF YOURSELF', Oh how i miss it, lol
  19. The one thing i,ve always admired is the way a soldier can switch on and off dependeing on the nature of the situation, But the one thing i couldnt understand was why we aint given the whole story either, Not even the troops, Its a basic thing to be given and order, And you carry it out, No questions asked. When i got home, I had time to think about everything i saw, And did out there, And its then it hits home, Watching kids washing in dirty water at the side of the road, Reaching up at you expecting hopeing you have some issue rations, Which many of the UK forces take for granted. All i can say is, Its nice to be home, And i hope i never get called up for War, Let alone a conflict.
  20. Heheh, Bet you remember the good old days ay?, Press-ups on the mud flats Running in the mud >, Those evil NCOs lol
  21. Im not sure if i,ve missed out on it, But i would like to see the good old command screen like on Rouge spear, And the commands, Like 'Frag room', In GR2, It was nice being able to go do ya own thing while the computer players went off to breach/Clear a room. Im not sure if this is in GR1 and i,ve been playing it just hopeing for it to pop up, But i aint seen it, MAybe theres scripts or something which some of you guys know about, If there is, Would be nice if ya could hand me a link , Just thought it,d be nice to see in GR2, Wha you guys think?
  22. Get a Gi issue marine patrol pack, Fill it with sand to about 20kg, Get sum boots on, And run till you drop, Your legs take 4 times your body weight when you run normally, Running burns most fat, Also like Recon says, Swimming is awsome, Not only a good fat burner but awsome cardiovascular, Stick to 3 meals a day, Try not to snack, Best way is when you feel the need to snack, Drink water instead, This flushes out the system of unwanted build up, And keeps you hydrated throughout the day. After running for about 2 weeks running every other day, Start on the sit-ups, Again go till you cant do no more, Dont do a set length when running, Just run till you cant go no futher, Running to a set length will just make you stop when you know you have another mile ahead. Rememeber, Its all in the head, And pain is just weakness leaveing the body HOOYAH!
  23. Aye, Suppose back then security wasnt so tight , I got trade with a few American forces, Traded sum badges, And shared sum of the rations, Oh whhat a difference in ration packs , Them eating Mars bar, Me on the biscuit browns withh cheese spead , Still its all about dicapline, And we got to run a few recons on forward positions with the Americans, Big respect to Sgt Flighty (Scouse) of the 22 SAS who commanded us with upmost respect and morale
