  1. Oh yeah I don't ever mean disgrace any of the Previous titles, I have so many memories as well playing ever one of them along the way from the Original Xbox never played them on the Computer. Console only kinda guy really. And ya I had no idea what you meant by modding I was like dang shes just willy nilly with the cheating stuff.....kidding only of course....lol Yeah you very well could've ran into some of the HVT guys and girls there use to be a fairly large group of us...hopefully Wildlands brings everyone back in. Never owned any of the PS stuff, controller makes me feel like a baby trying to use a fork its just not gonna happen and its gonna end badly in most cases for that fork....ha Well Mattshotcha, AI BlueFox, ITK5, are all a part of our Ghost Team Matt has been more PC I believe until hes ready to have some real fun and drink some beer and game all weee hours of the night. Got a few vids of Matt up on YouTube should check them out sometime if ya get bored, you can hear the crazy conversations that come along with that alcohol LMAO... Good Chattin with ya though and gaining an insight to some of your perspective exactly what I was looking for. 2. I would say right now Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain is the closest to what I would expect Wildlands to be just wasn't quite to detailed as it sounds Wildlands will be and theres really no major moving pieces in MGSV. One action doesn't directly effect other missions or impact the people in the villages locally placed on the map. Which I'm not sure will be on WIldlands but based off the Videos of animals and Civilians looks like they will be impacted in a similar aspect to that of which I speak of. I personally have logged around 230+ maybe more hours alone on just the Campaign something like 40 reg missions with 144 side missions that are brought up as you go through the main missions and the side missions were a part of the story as well. I don't want to go into detail as that's not a Ubisoft game Title. Just know this PVP MGO 3 came out and I have not logged in once since. I beat it I don't care anymore but what would keep me hooked is if the PVP(multiplayer/coop(GRAW) was there to save the day. Thus getting me to buy the game yes Campaign as mentioned several times above hugely important!!!That's your HOOK so to speak but to make them keep reeling in and tossing it back out and reeling it in again will require PVP Map Packs Gun selection Modifying weapons, apparel, helmets, gear, amounts of ammunition and all that impacting your style of game play and speed also being relevant in this all makes up the best all round recipe for a great game and justifiable of being labeled with the Ghost Recon tag. We all want a great game this round, even perhaps one that covers both sides of the spectrum and I believe the way Ubisoft and the Dev's are involving the player the gamers from the Competitive types to the action junkies, or to a casual Friday Night Shoot out were in for a ride and a well deserved treat when the smoke grenades clear and the bullets start to fly! Cant WAIT!!! Muddvain GRFS HVT Ghost Team Xbox 360 for now.....
  3. Oh no I wasn't trying to have any kinda of tone in that comment lol trust me I'm not that type of person...Don't think I know John other than just seeing him on here. Like I said it was mearly for those people saying Wildlands needs to stay as far away from GRFS as possible and I'm hoping they keep a lot of the play style in Wildlands from FS. Always being the odd man out on here makes defending my All-Time Favorite game very difficult and probably makes my comments come across wrong or a little too harsh but they are not intended to be. Purely Forum talk and sorry I just don't get ###### off about "Games" which is what they are right? wait its not real?
  4. Okay your referring to Modding as in Match Making not being able to take out Noob Tubes, Backscatters, ect....I get that and as nice as it would be and as frustrated as I do get at times with teams that run there tube first then shoot, its still a very Realistic Weapon and theres tons of Live Military action Videos on YouTube that back that theory or a grenade launcher to blow somebody out of there cover and either killing them instantly or allowing a instant invasion following the explosion. But I agree they should've made it to where you could host your games and take such weapons out. My simplest answer to that is this... If you are a competitive player which you sound to me like you are, why wouldn't you just make it to where when running custom matches or even Squad matches as we do currently and at the beginning of the session tell everyone to take them off. It doesn't always work with some ass holes out there but the real game competitors will abide by that rule simply because they probably feel the same way. You wanted a First Person shooter? I like the Hybrid more like GRFS. Once again making an assumption here correct me if I'm wrong you don't like 3rd person shooters because you can see around walls without poking your heads up right? Okay I see that point for sure and it probably should be more limited but if you stop and think about it go to a wall in your house that allows you to look down a hall way or a bedroom door way and tell me you cant peak in with a narrow view/sight line and make out if somebody's in that room or hallway without standing in the middle of the door way or hallway? However all that aside the simplest is this, if they can do it so can you, and you know those Noob Tubes everyone carries even in Graw 1-2 simplest way to clear a door way or opening you think there might be somebody behind??? hmmmm you feeling me TUBE lol Just sayin I get the aggravation and any quality player is going to see more downside to wall walking in place maybe for holding a position or something of that sort which you would do in reality anyways so no longer a true argument. OH HELL yes the CO-OP has to be present in Wildlands it has to be. I too saw very little point in the PVP as the mechanics lacked a lot in my opinion for a competitive PVP the slow swaying of the gun when you went to turn fast and hard at an enemy to your right or left. Had my sensitivity up all the way in most cases in all Ghost Recons previous to FS. And I too was PISSSSSSED when I bought that game and had no Co-Op I was so upset for a while about that and still am that's a major part of what I loved about Ghost Recon Series running 12-16 deep and attacking that Bunker Hill damn that was a blast. The friends you could make on that style of game play was amazing!!! Nothin Womanly about Co-Op its been widely missed even by the FS players trust me on that one I still love to flip over to Graw 2 and run a game or two on The Cut. Awesome Map lay outs stupid AI but what a blast. Yeah I guess I married that Red-Headed step child being that I absolutely love playing GRFS, if you have a 360 which it sounds like you do id love for you to come run with us on GRFS and see the other side of FS. We have a pretty large group of 10-20 players on every night usually everyone tries to run Friday nights and Saturday nights but I'm usually on after 8:00 Central all week long. I do bounce over to MGO with a few guys from the Crew from time to time but I still always find my way back home to GRFS. Muddvain HVT Ghost Team Xbox 360 for now....
  5. Well this post was intended for people keep saying Please don't make wildlands anything like GRFS, I referenced FS because everybody on this Forum just about everybody seems to have a huge bone to pick with FS. Honestly everyone just states its too different or it was to glitch/connection issues. So it really was intended for all the guys talking about Wildlands. Not FS, that's why I posted it in the Wildlands conversation, and hence why I titled it the way I did.
  6. Okay guys, I get theres a lot of hate and hostility towards the latest GRFS title. Apparently a lot of you guys didn't like the change from Graw and previous versions. I played all titles for Xbox, and I enjoyed everyone of them. This whole back to its roots don't sit well with me and I guess that's just cause I've enjoyed playing GRFS for 3.5 years now and still play it today with a lot of regulars still running it. What is the deal with GRFS? PLEASE DONT SAY CONNECTION that was established at Beta and I play 4-5 hours a night and yeah theres some lag and it host migrates and usually cleans up to a playable/acceptable speed. Some nights its virtually unplayable agreed completely. Controls, is it the way you move and cover swap? I would have to say if you didn't play it long enough yeah it sucked at first cause it was a pain in the ass to learn the distances from walls you need to be at and where to hold A or not. But you can't argue the Mechanics are sound. The whole added in or (not intended) speed bursting and entering and cancelling motion only added to the skill gap if you spend time practicing those moved in a CQC 1v1 is unbelievable what can be achieved and the motions you can to and cover swapping where you wind up behind people while they are scoped in looking where you use to be. If you have nothing other than I HATE GRFS please don't post I would just like to see why everybody on here is so stuck on Graw 1-2 that they couldn't move past that and support GRFS. Just about every game that's not running on a Dedicated server is going to be similar and have lag issues and connection issues. Just wondering for my own personal reasons. Not instigating an argument everyones entitiled to there own opinions of any and every game they've bought and played. Muddvain HVT Ghost Team Squad PS Yes Xbox 360, Hopefully soon Backwards compatible on Xone
  7. I think id like to see where I only have to create one guy MY character ya know! There can be class selections for my one guy and I select my loadout sets, along with apparel and gear. Much like MGO id like to see a weight effect...playing run and gun with a .50 cal isn't and shouldn't be possible. I like it to be more realistic when the scout wants to run and gun you pull out your secondary which would me a SMG or even a M14, whichever he or she decides to carry but let that choice effect your movability and speed. I don't want build up 6 different characters just wanna have different load outs I can choose in game on campaigns maybe at ammo boxes like GRFS, and on PVP after every death. Bring back Gunsmith as well its an absolute must have the MGO version for the online PVP mode absolutely limits your choices and what you can do its super retarded I want to chose the rifle I wanna use not some MRS-4 whatever that's suppose to be looks just like a AR-15/M14 to me. Okay done ranting.....
  8. The Campaign is important agreed! However how many of us go back years later to run through a long time beaten Campaign not me. I usually beat the whole game twice and I'm done and most games that can be done in a week or two of my average game play in a week. Now PVP I have played FS for 3.5 years and am still going strong...that's where you build your player relationships. Hollywood I don't know about all that but after all you are playing a Video game its not reality. I've enjoyed most campaigns ive played on Shooter/Combat game types. everything from Halo, Ghost Recon, MGS V, hell I've got 200+ hours on the Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain loved the crap out of it, but now I've completed all the missions and side missions. I would have to say Phantom Pain was by far the best Single player Campaign I've ever played to date. I expect Wildlands to exceed MGS by far. I also think they will be very similar. Only time will tell. But once again after several weeks and 200+ hours later of Single player the MG Online came out with PVP and they tanked it you can't join with friends if you have less than 6 in your party it splits you and makes you fight against eachother. MGO lost its flame and is almost Burned out. So in summary yes Campaign is important but the longevity of any game is dependent on PVP, Online gaming is the future and I know that rubs some old school players wrong but that's just the direction of gaming in general its not just Ubisoft or the Ghost Recon Series. Best Title to look at is the Halo Series been around close to the same amount of time as Ghost Recon yes obviously its a 1st person shooter (not the point) all the Halo's still have a following even with the new Halo 5 out you can still run Halo 2 3 4, Reach, but guess what people play on those games. PVP So while I do agree Campaign quality and experience is important lets not forget what keeps game alive and out of the Game Case a well balanced and explosive Multiplayer is an absolute must have. Just my .02 cents
  9. Wow, Ghost Recon Future Soldier.... Hard to believe its been 3.5 Years since the release of GRFS. Ghost Recon series has been my favorite Series to play ever... When I first started playing GRFS I couldn't adapt and hated the way you moved and the dang cover system got me killed more than id like to recall much less admit. However with more and more hours into the game, I became more familiar with the controls and quickly adjusted with hour and hours of game time. Of course the huge issue was connections and being able to Host and join other Hosted games. FS definitely has its time of week literally every week even 3.5 years later. Moving on from that (hard too trust me) if you can (IF) move past the issues with networks and such...Next come Player, I have literally met some of the best guys on Ghost Recon, mostly Future Soldier cause I've clearly got the most playing time with FS. Guys like AI Bluefox, ITK5, Mattshotcha, Kodie Coolings, Zeke have developed into great Online Friends. All because of GR, so thanks for that. I just cant give it up...For instance, I bought my Xone probably 10 months ago with some help on Price from one of those great guys listed above (thanks). I bought BF4, Shadows of Morrador, Titanfall, and latest, Metal Gear Solid V, Halo 5, and yet I still after even weeks of playing one of those or any and all of those games I find myself coming HOME (GRFS). Not really sure maybe its cause I get more time to drink in between Matches in GR hahahaha...no the real reason is because of the friends I get to run with, and the GAME, damn that Game I just love the way you control it. The mechanics of FS are so beyond its age and before its time. The cover swap entering and cancelling motions, speed bursting off walls and covers. Make GRFS second to none IMO on Xbox 360. Weapons gess we can't leave this point of the game out. Theres literally no other game that compares to the PVP Weapon Modification. IE (Gunsmith) Please Bring this back in GR Wildlands... I can't say enough about the ability to modify every major aspect of any of the offered weapons even if its negatively effecting your control or range of a particular weapon you can still modify it. Just simply amazing. Bottom Line I Vote for a Remastered GRFS with dedicated servers! Xbox 360 (GRFS) Muddvain HVT Ghost Team Squad
  10. Would Cheating really make you feel good? Would It really prove your the better player? Is it worth getting reported 10 billion times and worldly hated by GR players. Nah....You wont play with me if you cheat...and I venture a guess that the mass majority of GR Players would all say the same. Cheating Ruins the game that we all love!
  11. Id have to say personally I don't think its gonna matter either way....that said..i think its stupid that any woman would ever wanna be in any combat military position I don't want my daughter no matter how mentally strong or physically strong going to war in any Combat scenario. So to me in reality I would say hell no...in a video game who cares, if were goin for selling more games and if that ability to use a Women Character sells more why wouldn't you do it. ???
  12. If they do make you able to control the AI during campaign I'm all for it but I don't wanna babysit them like Graw and graw 2 I felt like I had to tell them literally everything and that's (put simply) not how a special unit of any military branch works. Make it more like Metal Gear Solid V when you have Quite (sniper) rolling as your buddy where they are simple commands such as, attack, scout, hold fire, cover me, also have them select there own covers not be forced to get the exact location on your (Go To) arrow on the right side of the cover to assure there visibility/cover. Just my .02 cents.... I have to be honest though as much as I love the Campaigns and how some are better than others its all gonna come down the PVP..... But that's for another Topic.
  13. Dedicated Servers only way to go period no matter what console/PC system your running.
  14. Great Vid Matt! I like the clean basic wording even with the language if you aint cussin you don't care enough....lol
