Now there is not an exact size that you must have, however there are restrictions and rules. These include a sig height and width restriction of 480x100 pixels and a file size restriction of 50Kb (for those members, like myself, who have slow a slow connection such as 56K). The sig must not include any sexual or racist comments, 'attacks' or inappropriate comments against fellow members and GR.net staff. So basically just abide by the forum rules. I no longer have paint on my comp!! here's the story... One day i turned on my computer as normal so that i could resume some work that i had started earlier the same day. When the computer had reached the desktop and fully loaded up all the background bits and bobs I clicked on Start Menu > Adobe Photshop 7.0. I then proceeded to continue with my work. Nearing completion I required one more thing - an image off the internet - so I logged onto the internet through AOL (Evil thing is AOL! ) and eventually located my required image. I then proceeded to save the image to my hard drive and then logged off the internet. I then found my recently saved image on my computer, after a lot of searching since i forgot where i saved the damn thing , and double clicked on it. Now this was saved as a bitmap image so it should automatically load up in Paint. However, I instead got an 'Open With' box. So, wondering what the hell had happened, i scrolled down the list to find Paint - it wasn't there! I then spent the next god knows how long trying to find the damn ponsy little program to no avail. Which will probs take more time, And i had to it uploaded on a m8s webspace, And he put it on here for me, Cos i aint a clue how. Could defo get into this banner makeing stuff tho I think! Velocity Posted July 25, 2003 Share Posted July 25, 2003 (edited) Thats an excellent sig there CMC, great work, love the guy holding the MP5, looks brilliant, again nice work One thing though i've noticed. If you look at the positioning of the weapon, the guys holding it so its slightly facing out of the sig, not parallel, or level, with the sig. So it does look kinda weird as though the laser is not aligned right with the weapon. What you could do is alter the laser dot line so that it goes from 1 pixel thick to 2 pixels thick as it reaches the right edge of the sig. This will give it more depth and make it look more realistic, as though he's pointing it out of the sig if you get what i mean.
