=Xion=
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me? I am NOT interested in hosting a GRAW2 server I just want to be able to play in other peoples Servers. Now I am getting a 56k Dial Up V.92 Modem, Will I still be able to play GRAW2 in Multiplayer? I looked up GRAW2 Minimum Requirements and I Found this.Network: High-speed modem with 128 Kbits of data transfer upload rate for a client, 512Kbits of data transfer upload rate for a server on a full game" but it says for a "Client" I am assuming that means Hosting a Server? So I'll get to the point. would I still be able to join other Servers with a 56K V.92 Connection? Someone Please Let Me Know As Soon As Possible! ROCO*AFZ*
Highly unlikely on 56k The old GR could but not as many things were being sent. If it does work, your ping will probably be high enough that server admins will kick you. Welcome to try though.
H_White
Maybe going to work, but such speed is very high lag! I 60 / 6 Mbit dedicated server is running. Over 300 ms lag is a great player coming!
cybersidd
Hey Xion! A client is someone who uses the services of a host (in this case, a server). This makes you a client, and you would need a minimum of 128 Kbits of throughput to play instead of the 56K that you currently have. Hope to see you in game soon!
