WytchDokta Posted January 28, 2003 Share Posted January 28, 2003 (edited) "Doomzday: Fading hope" is the officail name of my upcoming mission mod. The mod is set in Corsica. Basically you have to silence the FLNC (Front de Liberation National de la Corse)[Corsican terrorists]. You will get 12 new specialists based on the guys from my Stealth Recon mod. The new specailists are "the special forces of the future", and they are know as "Legion of Doom" (LoD). OK, about the missions. There will be alot of "unforseen consequences" in the missions. For example, on one of the missions you have to prevent the FLNC from blowing up the bank in the Embassy map. Just as you reach the bank they blow it up. There will be quite a few missions. Not sure how many yet, but I have loadsa ideas. There are also new concept briefings....and the operation leader , Nightmare (me) cannot be controlled by you. He is in all the missions and you have to follow him, protect him etc. The mission will be very difficult. Basically you have been assigned to a mission few would survive. They have chosen you because you are the best. If you fail the operation isn't over, Corsica is. Failiure IS NOT an option. I just hope you're good enough.... btw - "Doomzday" is not going to just one mission mod. "Fading Hope" is just part one.... Nightmare says:- "Ok. Lis'n up. This is a rescue mission, so don't give your position away and watch your fire" Then he says:- "Let's go. Get moving. C'mon. Go Go!" It's well funny lol.
