Has there been any news of a fix for the FOV, or a setting to modify? I haven't been playing because of this. I have the retail dvd.

Please fix or add a FOV setting GRIN!!!! The FOV feels wrong. I've played alot of RVS and tried most of the other FPS's, and never felt bothered like this. Its so narrow, its like your scoped when your not. Needs a setting in the files or something.......

I had this issue, and it was my McAfee Anti-Virus. It wasn't refered to as a firewall in McAffee, it was access protection in the console. You can add graw as an excluded process from the port monitoring.

Are these FPS all measured in single player without map up ever? In multiplayer, my fps is 10-15 fps lower it seems, and of course if you bring up the map in single player, that skews the result (higher).

Well I finally got in by disabling McAffee on access scan. I have no McAffee firewall so I don't know why it interfered, but it did. I can access without deleting the extra accounts. So to summarise, I opened the ports and disable the AV to get it going. Still get alot of drops from servers, but I suppose with SA dedi's this will improve.

yeh, I opened this too, and I get the same error as Ben linked in the image. I know its wrong cause the accounts do get created. I see them thru the Game Spy arcade tool.

Why did the GRAW allow me to create 3 nics with same email? And none of them allow me to play? I can see the accounts in GS arcade. It keeps telling me to check my internet connection, and I have the ports open thru my dlink dgl-4300 (ports per the demo readme)

I followed those instructions several times, but it gives me errors. Turns out, I created three profiles thru the GRAW MP. I loaded gamespy arcade and logged in with one, and saw the other two there also in arcade. (all three with same email addy). I have opened the ports after the "firewall" error. Still get it. and others. Hitting enter made the accounts, but the in game browser wouldnt connect me.

I wonder what is wrong with my setup. I have the logitech mx700, and when in the demo I hit the scroll wheel to bring up the team commands, I then try to scroll threw the list, and the selection starts racing thru the list uncontrolled. Same thing happens on the teammate selection. I have my mouse scroll set to 1 line. Any one else experience this? Rip update fixed by deleting mouseware. 2yr old software, maybe newer version will work, but plays fine without the software running.

Ahh thats actually good news, cause that makes it sound like it's a GRIN engine problem and hopefully GRIN can issue an update then. Cause normally ATI owners wouldn't experience this problem with HDR games. If AA is not working with HDR in GRAW, then what happens if you turn it off, instead of setting it 4x or such. There should be no difference, right?? I have an 7800gs I'm waiting to install, and don't wan't to if the ATI would be superior. Anyone want to try this??
