Ghost Recon on 3DS - "Shadow Wars"

One of Nintendo's launch titles for its new

3DS handheld device is to be Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts. In a departure for the Ghost Recon series, Lead the Ghosts will be a turn based game, develolped by Julian Gollop of X-Com fame.

"Lead the Ghosts" ??? What kind of title is that - are they marketing this game to elementary/primary school kids? :rolleyes:

Anyways, the 3DS itself looks really cool, and just shows how good Nintendo is at innovation and leading the way with new gameplay experiences. Did you see that analog pad on the left side? I think that is a first for a handheld.

On the Nintendo site its Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon.

After checking wikipedia having a read around I came across this:

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars

A turn-based tactics game for the 3DS under the name "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" has had screenshots released on e3.nintendo.com, but no other news has been revealed.

It has been confirmed on 28th November 2010 in Eurogamer interview article with Julian Gollop that the 3DS launch game is in fact Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, that used to be known as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts.
