Almost got it all bro... U have the main_menu01.rsb file, u have to make a copy of it, and call it shell_bgd01.rsb, and so on for ur second. i belive the max is 6 splash screens. Whisper got the folder right and everythong. alls u need is the main_menu, and shell_bgd files. dont forget the numbers, u miss those, ur liekly to crash, or they wont show up.

EDIT: i forgot the dashes b/w the bgd and 1, need them to, so u have...

main_menu-01.rsb

shell_bgd-01.rsb

make sure they are both the same image

Er, why

I'd say make sure they are not the same - more interesting that way

The main_menu-0*.rsb's are the main (1st) screen and the shell_bgd-0*.rsb's are the secondary screens (game type selection, mp, options, etc). You don't need to have them both - you can have just the main-menu screens if you wish.

OK. Dont laugh...

Thanks for the help, but how do you convert a picture to the rsb. format?

There is a certain mod that will go unmentioned that I use in MP but the splash screens are a bit......somphmoric. Wanted to change them....Oh wait, I'll just replace them with something from another mod...but I would like to use my own art....

If I did want to make my own, how do I convert the jpg. into the rsb. file?

Thanks for any help
