  1. Hi mate and modding team leader, We had really great time together developing this beast! I'll second that!
  2. Yeah I find the response of the Wingman way to high also. Make a game profile in the Logitech Profiler (system tray) and there you can tweak the sensitivity of the axis.
  3. AFAIK it's not out yet - been watching this one at BHMS. Unless I missed it I don't tink there's even a demo yet. Looks like it could be fun.....physics is everything though
  4. Sadly Richard has lost battle with cancer (brain tumor) I have a small tribute on my main website with a link to the Richard Burns Site. He has left us with a great legacy

    Toca3 demo

Yep - RBR is without peer IMO. Calius, do you ever play on RBRnet? I'm on most nights (Aussie time) and weekends. Matter of fact, it's 8:00am Sunday and there's 4 servers up so I might go scare the wildlife

    Toca3 demo

The racing sim community is scathing about this demo... RaceSim Central
  7. I find it a bit ridiculous actually - if the server is anywhere near full you are lucky if you can take one step from the spawn point. People continously nade the spawn points and charge around on full auto - the cacophony is bewildering Maybe I'll try some of the larger maps and see if it's any improvement. SP certainly rocks though

Yes agreed! One of the best shooters to come out in a while. The combat sections with the AI are outstanding
  9. In the meantime keeps your eyes on this one Lock On: Black Shark
  10. Min specs are P4 1.4GHz or AMD 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM for WinXP, GeForce 2 MX 400 or Radion 8500. In the demo the FF is screwed up and you can't adjust head sway - there is a sort of a fix HERE. The ReadMe should tell you all you need to know. One thing - the controller setup in CRC is complex and the default settings are awfull, especially if you are used to virtual driving. Basically, I turn off ALL the aids and assistance. Give me a shout if you run into probs. Good luck!
  11. I'm the good looking one......
  12. I have CRC and have played through the championship. It is a far better game than the forums at BHMS would have you believe - sometimes people in the hardcore sim world can be a little snobbish A lot of the opinion is based on the 2nd demo which has a number of bugs which have since been addressed in a patch. They really should release a new demo as it doing the game a lot of harm. The physics, while not up to the standard of, say, Richard Burns Rally, are quite acceptable and enable you to to have a great deal of fun with the cars. For example, the car handling is better than the latest iterations of Colin McRae Rally or Xpand Rally....IMO. There are 5 main maps (with many different configurations per map) including, mud, snow and ice, tarmac and a beach track. The AI are a bit dodgy and annoyingly aggressive at times. With practice they are not too hard to beat especially if you can break away from the pack. MP holds great promise although there seems to be no one online at present - I'm hoping this is because it's only been released in Europe so far (or so I believe). As an added bonus, if you have TrackIR, it has the best support I have seen in a racing title yet. Don't ask me what they have done better, but whatever it is, it enhances the driveability noticeably. It also supports TrackIR Vector Expansion which means you can lean from side to side, backwards or forwards and even sit up to see over the dash. In a hairpin for example, you can not only glance sideways at the apex, but also lean forward and sideways in order to see around the door pillar. It's very cool when you see it
  13. Far Cry is one of the best SP FPS's to come out in recent years - have no idea what pagey is on about with "jump-run": to the contrary the enemy will sneak up on your last seen position and scare the living daylights out of you (ie: they don't magically 'know' where you are). Take the critters out of FC and you would have a 9/10 game.....IMO of course If you get it, make sure you try the Matto mods (there's thread in this section) - they are excellent. I couldn't much get into Brothers in Arms. It may just be that the WWII market is oversaturated, or something else....dunno
