Ready for bear grpcrc1.16 crash

Ready for Bear crashes on the last tank escort mission, after calling artillery on the heli. It crashes when the first enemy tank appears and the tank(s) starts shooting.

Don't feel bad. I crashed in the same area, but I was avoiding the enemy tanks, but same spot every time between checkpoint 9 and end. THIS SUCKSSSS

Look around and you will find the solution.... this has been stated time and time again, it's the snipers with the anti tank gun at the end of the mission, kill those before they make contact with your tanks and youll be fine.

I can confirm killing all the AT guys in the watchtowers will stop the crash,granted it took me more than few times to find/kill them all while dodging the 3 tanks(yes there are 3 but one drives off and really poses no threat to the generally taken route)

Best bet is to leave everyone at the checkpoint and clear out all the AT guys then move in the tanks and the rest of your team it works!

Yeah, that's what GRIN_jesse_james suggested to me, and it worked just fine. TRIED taking Allen and/or Kirkland along, but they lose their minds when they get fired at. "Oh, look at the pretty bullets! They're coming OUR way! YAY!" Two guards in each of three towers, and I'm not sure which of the six dudes it is (if not ALL six) that causes the crash. Grenadees work just fine to ensure they don't do it anymore, though...

Supposedly WILL be fixed in the next patch, too...

ALRIGHT! That crash is F-I-X-E-D! Nice work, GRiN!

Now, there was another thing going on there. I didn't quite notice it until I went to prove the crash fixed. After the first tank round goes downrange (very near my position directly in front of the ammo depot), EVERY TIME that ANY tank or RPG round goes downrange I get the same screen flash and shockwave effect (the slight distortion of view) regardless of my distance from the firer and the direction of fire relative to me. Personal experience says taht an M1 Abrams MBT main gun will ring your bell from a couple hundred meters out, but I think this is an effect meant for VERY close proximity, and not just anywhere in the same grid square...

OH, AND ANOTHER POTENTIAL GLITCH AFTER PATCH 1.20 INSTALLED_

Not sure if this is location specific yet. During the trial run of 'Ready for bear Checkpoint 9', while trying to assault one of the guard towers, I noticed I was UNABLE to switch to grenades. (loadout- MR-C w/sight (4 1/2 magazines left), GL (0 rounds left), and grenades (2 left)) When I peered at the lower-right corner of the screen, it appeared that when I help the 'F' default key for 'show weapon list' the 'weapon selection menu' OVERLAPPED the weapon status window. As I had three choices left, the first one (MR-C rifle) was the only one completely above the WSW, and hence the only one I could choose. If I attempted to select either of the other two (MR-C GL or hand grenades), it would confirm and begin changing weapons visibly, then bring the MR-C rifle back up. NO CRASH ASSOCIATED WITH THIS BUG. Mission completes just fine.Didn't check to see if it stuck around in the next mission. Loaded a different checkpoint in the same mission and the bug was gone. Switching weapons worked less than a minute earlier.

@GRiN dudes and dudettes- please let me know if you need any more information or w/e from me concerning this MINOR inconvenience of a bug. MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP YOU HELP US!
