I don't know why el nino :(

I tell you what.....create another mod install using the free version of the clickteam install maker.

I will take a look at the current version and check out whats going on. Also include cobaka's kit edits and whatever else done so far. Let me know when its done and remind me of the ftp site where I can get it.

After I look at it I will figure out why the specialists aren't showing up.

Also, what missions and maps did you play it on so I can test it under those conditions.

@Stalker Zero, I have made it a click team installer. I will upload it tomorrow night to our FTP, its too late now.

I had the problem with the specialists on any map, I did try a few cant remember which ones though :wall:

@Cobaka. I also added your new files.

@all, mission 1 is as far as I am concered finished. It contains the general by Dog Zebra and also Chems DC-3.

I have made a briefing and some new radio traffic sounds. I know its not perfect but you should have heard the first ones :wacko:

I really would like some feedback on this. I need to know if it will even run on someone elses comp cause its a heavy one.

Now I am working on mission 2 which will be less heavy :whistle:

Got some really nice ideas :D

OMG didn't know til today that you had the install ready.

I will download it tonight and check why the specialists won't show up. heh heh you should send me a PM next time so I would respond quicker.

In fact, let me try to get the download going before I run off for my afternoon jog.....gotta keep the weight off you know! ;)

Ok.

I tried it out and its all my fault! :wall:

I had uploaded the wrong beta. I'm going to install the missions and the kits done so far and install it into the corect version.

And I'm going to update the beta to 0.6 and put it into a clickteam install package.

The new mod folder will be called "GCEP06". And the specialists this time will be working.

I'm going to upload that and later try to upload a bunch of gun sounds so you guys can work on it some more. OK? Cool.

So check our ftp site for it soon.

ARGH! :wall:

Yesterday I took several hours figuring out how to install a couple more skins that Sgt. Crocodile donated. The problem was that there are a limited number of "slots" for skins that have desert color versions of itself.

I gave up and put them under slots that only allow standard jungle/forest skins and nothing else.....at least from what I can understand.

I will try to figure out how to shove the desert versions in if I can but in the meantime...I'm uploading as is so el nino can take some screenies. The standard soldiers are bassically the Delta Force while the specialists are various mean lookin mercenary types. ;)

Take special note of the last two specialists by Sgt. Crocodile. They are a big guy with big muscles a support specialist by the name of "Jake Tanner" and a mysterious commando only known as.....Mr. Jones.

Uploading it as we speak *filename: gcepbeta06* el nino so I hope your checkin the forum regularly. :thumbsup:

p.s. Hey sup....is your stuff that you donated at the ftp site? If not I will make sure that it is there and that somebody can install it into the next beta along with those nifty vehicles that cobaka showed us. but Cobaka those kits need alot more work. mix the guns along with nades or sniper rifles with shotguns. Don't make too many kits now but the ones you do make get creative. Snipers have to be done along with demo support and the rest of riflemen. And yes I will sort through my sound files for stuff to upload. :wacko:

I am sorry to say this but the specialists still arent there?????

Also if I try to pick a weapon while getting ready to play the Batlleborn campaign it crashes.

Same for the Broken arrow mission I made, it crashes too. You also left out the sounds/briefing I made. Chems plane is not in it?????

Was my work really that bad? :stupid::o:huh:

I dunno man. It should be working. As for the other stuff I simply didnt copy all the files over from the other version. But thats not important at the moment. You can always add that stuff.

But YOU SHOULD BE SEEING THE SKINS. :(

Do you have mp1 and mp2 ?

Maybe that can be it. Can you give the install to others and confirm that the specialist skins are visible?

Note that some specialist skins arent visible on jungle missions.

However all the new standard soldiers should be visible.

Please, need feedback on this.

Sunraa checked the mod out also.

He crashed while picking a campaign and move to weapon selection screen.

He tried quick mission too but this also made him crash.

He cant see the specialists since it makes him crash to go to weapon selection screen.

Here is his ike.log

Ok. el nino heres what to do....

Add again the missions and materials that make the missions work like you did before.

All I did was overwrite the mission and kit folders from the CEP beta over to my beta with the skins.

I didn't know there was other material I should have copied over.

This thing needs to get fixed before we can continue.

Let me know whats going on ok?

I will try to figure out stuff on my end.
