Rajveer
before you render the lightmaps for hours on end to find that you included a prop from the wrong set, press backspace in the editor and any props in the wrong set will become checked like when run in the game
Dimz_RR
i think this is bad advice , its not worth ruining a map just to save a few minutes ... just check the props ppl .
Wrath
i think this is bad advice , its not worth ruining a map just to save a few minutes ... just check the props ppl . I agree.... backspace is bad idea... thats how i ruined a stage of "WAR" map, and had to delete a bunch of autosaves to get back to normal

TedSmith
Assuming you've saved before hitting the delete key, isn't that easier than going through and checking every one item? Just hit it and if any checker-patterns show up, reload from before you did that...
Psi
Just export your level through 'draft' mode instead of medium mode. And your level will be done in like a couple minutes. Though lightening looks crap , you can check your level out quickly and find the bugs At least that is what I use
Rajveer
yeah same here...looks like ###### but gets the job done!
Papa6
the lighting is what takes so long. geez I'm making a map and my benches were off the ground. think about finding this out AFTER a 1 hr 20 minute export .
Rajveer
use draft and 1 pass and it will take less than a minute to export
Wille
hehe yes, when you export it also calculates the lightmaps and that my friend, can take a very long time... if you have a large level that is.
