“Since we first began working on Far Cry 2 in early 2005, we have used GeForce GPU’s to develop the game and worked closely with NVIDIA’s excellent engineers. While Far Cry 2 represents an outstanding PC gaming experience for a wide range of systems, GeForce users can expect to enjoy the game quite literally ‘The Way It Was Meant To Be Played’.” - Louis-Pierre Pharand, Ubisoft, Far Cry 2 Producer

I take it these beta drivers offer better in-game performance, but don't yet have the promised support for a dedicated GPU for PhysX acceleration?

That's probably the big thing I'm waiting for with the 180.xx release. I wonder how much of an impact that'll make in GRAW2.

Not sure what you mean ?.... PhysX support has been in the drivers since 177.83 (for GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series GPUs )
