  1. I think you should sue them. That sucks, I am sorry to hear that you got stuff stolen. Eh, everybody makes mistakes, this one was just really really funny
  2. I thought about putting $4000 into the stock market this summer, which is my entire net income from my summer job, being a student and all. Thankfully I decided to just pay off student loans I have already built up with it. Probably a pretty good decision.
  3. You are supposed to be one of the people who knows what they are doing.... So, that first quote is from a different thread, in a different part of the forum, from a quote button I hit almost 5 hours ago....quite the staying power.
  4. *googles Fuel Girls* *Wonders what this has to do with "Site Feedback"* Other than the fact that I think we need a video on the frontpage, would generate more traffic.
  5. Going from 174-180.43 raised my FPS in Far Cry 2 by almost 15 on DX10-Very High-0xAA
  6. So what I want this to mean is that say you own EndWar2 and GRAW3. While playing EndWar2 say you have a mission that means take paris, well you use the map from EndWar2 and it saves it on you console, then it switches to GRAW to actually go in a have a looky lou and take paris. But if you also own SC or R6 you could do either of those options also, with each game offering unique mission in that scenario (obviously SC and GRAW can't have the same objectives/mission) So I didn't do a great job of explaining what I mean, but it makes sense in my head. But in fact it will probably just be squad-based (using the very loosest definition of that term) Halo.
  7. I am pretty sure he just made them following a tutorial to practice modelling.
  8. Now Rocky, lets talk about how my discs haven't been shipped yet
  9. Ordered my set, yay! Go super shipper Rocky.
  10. I ordered my new stuff last night. Q6600 eVGA 8800GT (Stepping up to 9900 series when they come out in early July) 4GB GSkill RAM And this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813136039 I have learned to not describe the motherboard, just to link it $750 total (with a new HSF) I am pretty dang excited, should be here early next week.
  11. So All I have to say about it is that 3 500GB Hard drives in Raid-0...costs 920$ when the HDs can be bought for 100 each online and Raid costs nothing because the mobo they have supports onboard raid.
  12. Cool, glad to hear that this is fixed BEFORE I got achievement hunting later tonight. Nice to see and issue realized, and fixed in such a short time. +10 points for everyone involved.
  13. OH, fun. Calls off the mercs...I knew I should have picked one that offered refunds....
  14. I would heartily agree with a couple of those suggestions, namely Eastern Promises, Zodiac, Letters from Iwo Jima, and The Bourne Ultimatum. I would also suggest checking out a couple of others like Gone Baby Gone and 3:10 to Yuma
  15. So played some firefight on a couple of the new maps (Caves, RR Bridge, and Battlefield to be precise) and wow is all I can say. Amazing redoing of the maps. Haven't tried the coop yet, hope to get some of that in tonight probably after about 9 CST, so if anybody wants in GT is Kamakazi010654
  16. Downloading now, me = excited, now just need to find somebody to coop with tonight.
  17. <--- has been patiently/impatiently waiting for these for a long, long time.
  18. Anyone tried the Turning Point one? thinking about downloading it tonight give it a shot.
  19. My thoughts on this would be the fact that most if not all shooters are "shooters on rails" and it isn't worth it to developers to make a 9 man when there is only one street to go down, or at the most 2 for the "token flanking route" that I see in alot of games. Perhaps the reason 9 man coop worked so well in [GR] is because they gave you a big square to run around in with 4 objectives to work on. Not a street, with a house at the end, then a right turn, then a house at the end of that street, with the rest of the city being barricaded off.
  20. I played Assassin's Creed for awhile, was just too repititious for me in the end. I hope this game is good, could definitely be a ton of fun or it could be a mediocre game (Enter the Matrix anyone?) I love the bourne books/movies and they are all top quality so I hope this is too.
  21. I can only really address one thing there...can't find the link but there was a story I saw not long after the announcement that New Line was abandoning HD-DVD that if Blu-Ray did emerge the winner MS would have no problem producing a Blu-Ray add-on. I will have to see if I can't find the link... And about MS Customer Support...it took me like 10 minutes to get my 360 ready to be sent back...
  22. They can say those things, doesn't mean it will work the best. I was just kind of disappointed when I played the first one on my friends PS3, thought the MP could have been better, although I can't really describe what was missing or wrong.
  23. If this actually comes out, and the MP works, although I don't know about 60 people, the maps will have to be massive which I am not a big fan of. But if they do the maps right, just the perfect size, this could be alot of fun, perhaps even enough to talk me into getting a PS3.
  24. On the subject of camping I agree with Zebb somewhat, especially when it comes to the type of player who just sits in one place the whole game and doesn't help out the team, my favorite example was when I was playing one game on "Crash" I believe, the one with the helicopter in the middle, and 2 of my teammates just sat in the blue house watching doors the entire game, the entire game. It is pretty hard to do much when it is essentially 4vs6 when the teams are fairly evenly matched. But I probably camp just as much as anyone else, especially when my team seems content to just hold on to one important building, a good example is the two story house on...forget the name of the map, but it has the barn and the two bridges one of wood another of stone...well anyway, the house with the MG in the window and a couple of windows. But I almost think that it is too easy to camp sometimes especially if you bring along claymores, because one well played claymore can take out pretty much anybody coming around a door or up some stairs. On a more personal note, my favorite place to camp is behind a little piece of tin on "Bog" that juts out from one of the buildings kinda beside the bulldozer, I don't know how I get so many kills from it because it is very exposed, but I do. I don't really like Search and Destroy gametypes because it just seems to be a huge camp fest and anytime I start to move a sniper bullet goes through my ear, I will give them props for being skilled with the rifle, but seriously they probably hadn't moved for a couple of minutes. I play pretty much only Hardcore gametypes so that the killcam is not active, which is pretty nice, even when getting camped out the rear end by someone I think it really adds some fun to the game and alot more tactics when you don't have to sprint away from where you killed somebody from so they can't get you back as soon as they spawn. And I agree with Rocky on the airstrike thing, what is a guy going to do when there is the whole enemy team in one little spot, you don't know that they just spawned maybe they are just good at sticking together, who can resist that "Carpet Bomb" challenge?
  25. Woah there Rocky, way to give us some original thought... Maybe this will just make Blu Ray win, that is all I want, one to win, is that too much to ask?
