  1. Bro, thanks for your reply. I removed all the files from that directory as you suggested and I joined an [GR] coop game just fine. Hopefully I will catch some of you out in the field. Peace
  2. Or use the start menu option that the beta patch installer creates. "Uninstall Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Patch". It works just fine. People just like to make things more difficult for themselves than necessary. I'm not sure who this is referencing, as I was not one of the beta testers. The patch I downloaded was from the filefront location. I uninstalled the game and installed it fresh figuring to avoid the "files different from server issue" since I wasn't positive which files to remove from the mods. So I was just honestly asking if anyone would have an idea why I should be encountering problems. Any help is appreciated.
  3. I downloaded the patch and installed, then found I couldn't join any of the new co-ops due to different files from the servers. Having a few simple mods installed, I figured that was the problem. After a fresh install and patching again, I am still getting the same error. The only thing I copied and put back into my install directory was my profile folder with my saves. Would anyone know if that should cause me a problem? edit... I have also tried creating my own server for [GR] coop and each time I crash with this same error. Crash in application version: grpcrc1.30 data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(-1): cant set this to a value (type: <void>) SCRIPT STACK data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\inventory.dsf(0) data\lib\managers\groupmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0) data\lib\units\extensions\groupunit.dsf(0)
  4. i've seen this happen in co-op rounds also, i was wondering if this is because of modded files? i only remember being removed from someone else's hosted game once with a prompt saying i had different files then the host.
  5. i'm still down for some co-op, in anyone is interested ;D if age matters, i'm 27
  6. i was thinking about making a post like this. i use ventrilo as it is, and have been playing co-op with a few people here and there. if you use xfire add me and say w'sup... sn = DubStyle workin on some graphics at the moment i'm posting, but i'd be down for some co-op in a little while ;D
  7. no doubt Crowman. i've only been lurking this board until now, but 95% of the threads are people with too much of a negative perspective. i'm not old school GR1 like i've seen others posting about, so in effect i don't know what that experience was like, and therefor don't hold some grudge about it not somehow holding true to it. since buying this game up on release day, i've been happy with it. of course there are some bugs, like a thousand threads elaborate on. but this game is great and i can't wait to see it get better with updates, and especially community mods! i'm especially psyched for that in particular
