mirr
update: change only the physx="true" part in the files and not the effects name. i installed the patch and the beta physx drivers and now everything looks the same as in the video with the physx card installed. before, the debris would not collide with the ground plane, but would go floating off into the air. everything runs in software mode now and fps stay about the same. mirr. By modifying the physx settings to novodex its possible to add some extra particles/decals/debris etc... some of the files in the effects dir have physx specific settings, like GrenadeExplo_physx physx="true", by changing physx to novodex (GrenadeExplo_novodex novodex="true") the extra particles will be rendered. some of the effects don't seem to work, like barrel smoke after using full-auto. files i modified are e_explosions.xml-e_weapons.xml-e_smoke_grenade.xml-e_props.xml-e_fire_effects.xml by default the friction/damping settings are not that good, so these can be tinkered with too. mirr. V.P.
ok, I got the extra particles to work, well atleast when shooting the walls I see extra particles. But I really dont see anything new when I blow up cars and stuff. I changed all the novodex="true" in the "e_explosions.xml"(and most of the other "e_" files) , but I dont see anything new regarding the explotions. Could you upload your files Mirr? the "e_*" files that you have edited? That way I could insert them into my own folder, and be sure that I didnt miss a thing. I once again thank you in advance : )

Did you recompile the bundles on your computer to gain faster load speed? the reason I ask is that i saw that you have "<compile xml="true"" in your context file.
