Sup
If you got the GOTY edition, you only need one patch. 1.96, I think. For mods, check out: http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=21512 And http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22602

en4rcment
If you got the GOTY edition, you only need one patch. 1.96, I think. Is this correct? I have the GOTY edition and I have joined a few servers with no problems (and no patch). EDIT Holy cripes I'm a N00b... GOTY version does need to be patched to 1.96...it is only at version 1.85 fresh out of the box. GOTY patch is HERE Edited December 8, 2004 by en4rcment

T_1
Everything goes into your Operation Flashpoint/Addons directory
en4rcment
Everything goes into your Operation Flashpoint/Addons directory ← Do all the add-ons come in their own folder and then you put "that" folder into the addons folder? Because there is just a mess of files in that folder. How would you ever know what to remove?
CrowmanUK
the mods go in your ofp/res/addons folder mate, some of them dont work if they go in the addons folder if memory serves me right
Sup
@en4rcment, Yeah, they all go in loose.

en4rcment
the mods go in your ofp/res/addons folder mate, some of them dont work if they go in the addons folder if memory serves me right ← Can we get a clarification on this from all of you Gulf of Aden vets? I have already proved my n00bness earlier in the post, but I am also unsure of where to put these files... Should they go in the main addon folder or the resistance addon folder? Sart
Resistance
T_1
I just checked and I have them split between Addons, and Res. Thinking about it RES may be the better location, as addons was probably for the CWC addons
NightCrawler
OK I got everything installed and tested, everything is working. But I have a question about the mouse, my is just too touchy, I've turned the sensitivity down inside the game but it's still too much, any suggestions? T_1
Touchy as in????
NightCrawler
More sensitive then I like, maybe it'll just take some getting used too. But it's definately not like all of my other games. I played for a couple of hours with some of the RSi guys last night and it's playable so I reckon I can live with it.
CrowmanUK
Have you tried turning down the sensitivity in your windows mouse settings, that might do it
