One thing that needs to be changed is this. I realize a different company developed this game, but one should keep some of the things from previous titles. All R6 titles and GR had one thing in common.
1. You selected you primary, secondary, and kits items by pressing 1,2,3,4 etc. Using this dang "f" key to bring up a menu that you then have to scroll through is down right retarded and takes to long. Let alone in SP there is some kind of bug that sometimes will not allow me to select my secondary weapon, mouse wheel scrolling skips over it like its grayed out. I notice it happens a lot after I have thrown a grenade, then I’m unable to select my secondary weapon. This is what you get when you have a company making a PC title, but all they have is console programming on the brain. GRIN, PC’s have keyboards, NOT finger pad console controllers…make use of the darn KB.
2. The patch was supposed to fix the "You're leaving the mission area" but instead every time I here those words, my game freezes. Twice I was so close to finishing my SP mission, look for one last tango left, and game freezes when mission area statement comes up.
3. I own a high end system, and expected GRAW to have lot better graphics; this no AA is just plain retarded. I would trade nice looking graphics for the entire game as compared to the stupid physics of explosions being detailed by AGEIA PhyyX card. I running BF2 1280 x 1024 with 4AA and all settings at their highest, and the game just looks drop dead gorgeous, It makes GRAW LOOK like some game that using three year old technology. Crap, R6 Lockdown had better graphics than GRAW. Because of the lack of Dedicated server support for both R6 Lockdown and GRAW, this game is never going to be popular, we all wasted our money on a dead horse. I'm having troubles with server support, you know what Ubi told me, "we don't support the online portion of the game, contact GameSpy for this". I knew this was a wasted of time and exactally what GS was going to say. GS says "contact Ubi, Ubi just paid for the license to use our code that supports online gaming, when you see powered by GS in game, it's nothing more than a trademark". They infact respned witha detailed email reply, and told me to FWD it to Ubi.
